Come on there must be some really good/funny/scary ID'ers out there somewhere..?
I'm gonna have to rain on this little parade and tell you girls and boys that giving out your pictures on the internet is a BAD IDEA.

Fair enough, was meaning in game pictures but thankyou. (Dont want anyone thinking Im weird or anything, lol.)BTW the reason I suggested this thread is cos I played with a master image designer today and theres loadsa hairstyles and stuff Ive never seen before.
Mind you, this changes every couple of days, but...
Kyree is a twi'lek with the brightest yellow skin color and the brightest red lekku stripes. A couple of days ago, she was a lovely brick red with the bright yellow stripes. For a party with a Christmas theme, she was a hideously bright green with the red lekku markings. She went through a gothy phase when she first hit master ages ago. There's a lovely tan that's very close to that bright yellow on the interface, and I've done that one with quite a few different markings colors.
She's even worn the lekku style with both in front curled close to her neck. No one ever uses that one.
I tend to stay with the brighter colors because it attracts attention, and as an ID it's some of my best advertisement.

Bright colors definately help. My hair is always the bright bright red. I'm one of the few people that can pull off that color, apparently, and so I'm practically the only person on my server (that I know of) that uses it. It does make for good advertising ("yea, the one with red hair") and it makes me easy to find.
Clicky, if anyone's interested

She's not just whistling Dixie folks. I've got a friend who gave her picture to a friend on the net after knowing him for SIX months, she thought she could trust him.The "friend" turned into a stalker who she ended up having to take to court and get a restraining order against. Giving out your photo online just isn't a wise idea.

You should also walk around with a paper bag on your head just incase you run across a nutcase.

its good to be carefull online, but posting a picture of yourself isnt the dangerous thing. the dangerous thing is telling them personal things. an image is nothing...( but in swg, image is everything, not knocking the profession)
there are dos and do nots, showing of picturs shouldnt be too big a deal unless you had done too many do nots already.

100% agree. I don't mind people knowing what I look like, I for one like being able to put a face to a name. I don't however, give out any personal details other than if somebody asks where I'm from I'll say England. I've never been stalked yet! (though with a pic like that who can blame the stalkers:smileyvery-happy

I spent several hours on teamspeak last night with some friends from my server, including Ava's husband. It was... supremely entertaining. They made me sing.
