The main problem with curly hairstyles is that you're dealing with a polygon overlay type graphic. If you've got curly hair, you should be able to see spaces in the curls when viewed from the side, but with the current technology, programming this sorty of thing, particularly for such a huge game as SWG is practically impossible. However, considering the female human hairstyle with the braid loops in back, I could be entirely wrong on this point.
If you're going to have curly hair, it can only be done with shading... it'll still look pretty flat, like all the wookiee fur.
Wookiee braids would rock, and would actually help the rest of their hair get some definition. No mohawks though please... it's not very star warsy.
I would actually like to see variations available for Twi'lek lekku width. The classic Twi screenshot shown on the website is the one of Uula (or whatever her name was) in Jabba's HQ. Look at her lekku... they're about 1/2 the width as all the Twi's in the game. I'm not even sure how that screenshot was made... morphed in Photoshop or something probably.
More lekku positions would be nice as well... give the Twi's the same number of options as, say, Zabrak horn & hair options.
Human styles... less Brady girls, more Madonna. Or something at least. Plenty of "plain" styles available for these, in fact there are even a couple close enough that I feel one or the other could be gotten rid of. Quite a few good suggestions have already been made on this. So long as they maintain the SW feel, I support them.
I would like to see more "up" styles for females. Maybe not beehive, but similar types... things that are more appropriate for a politician or merchant. Someone should watch all the movie award shows on TV and take notes.
I do not, however, support the addition of any spikey anime styles. Sure, they're cool, but they're not SW. Leave them out.
3D facial hair... we've already seen the requests, we all know we want them. What I personally would like to see is 3D hair for the Ithorians. Those two-dimensional beards are hardly worth the effort of having them.
More patterns for patterned species, we all want them. 'Nuff said.

Zabrak females definitely need some new hairstyles (like pretty hair-down hairstyles).
I don't know how it would be possible, but I really wish I could do a lot more with my lekku style.
Almost every human female I see have the same hairstyle (that last hairstyle in the hairstyle options). I'm tired of seeing it too.

OMG - Hair accessories! Like headbands and stuff... I'm not asking them to be craftable, nor am I asking for them to be uncraftable, hehe... It would be cool to have hairstyles with hair accessories (kind of like the beaded hairstyle... with the beads, or the bothan female hairclips...)
So much to want, so little to have

I know that tatoos make Zabraks somewhat unique, but I think it would be cool if humans could have them also....

Long hairstyles for humans are down to what 3 styles? We need more long hair.
Zabraks are certainly in need of more hair, and it seems most of their hairs are well..klingon hairstyles moreso than zabrak.
Wookies, those furry being could use a braid or beard like ponytail things to make them cute or warriorish maybe where their hairfalls down past their chins
Moncals../shudder..perhaps more patterns
Trands..hmm no Im thinking more cooler ridges like maybe following a dragon theme
then theirs that race that looks like a bug, cant remember what its called for somereason right now. I dont see how much more of a frill variation they can get, so maybe more coloring to their frills would be nice
