Flattered as I am, I will let you guys know right now I'm not interested in correspondenting full time in any sort of near future. As you can see from my Sig, I've already done double duty as Tailor Cor and Test Center Cor. I'm beat!


I'm going to the summit because Kwee is a sweet girl and since the ticket were being reserved before she could get an official replacement, I couldn't bear letting you guys not have representation at this summit. So I'm going to bat one last time before I fade back into obscurity as a tester.


Whomever is chosen, its not me.

Well, that isn't constructive. How about you say who you'd support rather than who you wouldn't? I could have said, "As long as its not Jim-Bob I don't care," but then that would just piss poor Jim-Bob off, don't you think?


As I said earlier, I can think of three people whom I would trust this job with, and one was one I rarely agreed with. So, just because of a personal grudge or constant disagreement, doesn't make me think someone isn't eligable for the job.


Oh, and my three picks were/are Technocan, Fuschia, and Thewt (who has left us).

Well, all I know is that on the rifleman boards and the teras kasi boards that the PEOPLE had some say in who represented them after their correspondents left. Quite honestly, everyone should take this a bit more seriously.

Even on those boards, it is apparently not a democracy. TH still chooses the Corres based on his own set of rules. We ARE taking this seriously, Mawie, but the truth is that us ID's have quite a few people who would do more than good at this position, and really, deep down inside, we don't want to let Kwee go...

I know, I think that is the biggest problem. On those boards, the people were having problems with their corresponents (as in they would randomly quit and leave the people with no representation.) This time, our corr gave us some heads up about her plans, and a a good reason for leaving us. (Family, afterall, comes before all.) Letting Kwee go is gonna suck, hardcore. And then there is the inherant problem that so many people on these boards are qualified for the position.


And if you go and look at those two boards, the 2 people who are currently the corres were overwhelmingly the people whom the community wanted as their reps. I know it is the hip thing to always dis on TH, but I don't think he is looking to screw any community over. Obviously ifthe vast majority of ussaid that so-and-so is a horrible-baby-eating-moron and he chose so-and-so to represent us, there'd be a problem.

More than likely, they'll want someone who has master ID on Test Center as well ason regular servers & plays them all a lot, who posts here often, who isn't known for bitching at the devs (there goes most of us), & who has a lot of time on their hands. I think we only have a vague idea of all the work Kwee has been doing behind the scenes on our behalf.


Some of the most qualified people to fill Kwee's position have already either left the game, are not playing or postingas much, or have already said no way, like Sir_Voor & Syzygy-Gorath. I might be missing some other obvious good choices, but without really analyzing it, the names that immediately pop into my head that are still around would be FusciaD, Mawie, or Maisland.
