Not to throw this off-topic, but who is your provider? When I cancelled my phone service last year with Verizon, they didn't get around to cancelling the DSL till over a month later. You may not have anything to worry about. 
Kwee, do you have a name for the bambino?

BellSouth. Not the best in the world.. but they're usually prompt about cutting services (Pretty frickin' effecient in that regard, actually.)
Too bad they can't do the same in billing
