Thread: A New Image Designing Site
Yay! 
I'm so glad the site helped you out, Madry and Tiaga. That's what I was hoping for. And, Tiaga, that's a fun roleplaying idea--to use it as a "catalogue." It gives your customer's material to look through while they're waiting their turn...just like a real-life salon.
And, on a side note, what a great tip!!!

You know, I took my first steps into this forum tonight to look for this exact site concept! I thought, "Well, if it doesn't exist, I can at least suggest it."
Looks like I don't even have to do that!
Now, I didn't read this whole thread or look over the whole site, yet, so if this next part was already thought of and mentioned or I just missed the part of the site, please excuse me.
The only thing I can think to add to the site (was part of my original idea) is to separate (or at least mark) the different hairstyles/colors/etc. by what level of image design/entertainer is needed for each. It would just be nice to know who can do what for whom, or to give the up-and-coming image designer some idea of what to expect.
I can help only up to level 3 of the entertainer image design tree...and then only on Trandos atm. From what I remember:
The first 5 ridge styles come with Level 1. Eye colors come with level 2. Ridge 6 comes with level 3 (pretty disappointing level, if you ask me (at least for trandos)...).
Anyway, if that helps, then I'm happy. If not, and you want to discard my idea, that's fine, too. Fantastic job on getting those snapshots. Fantastic job on the web design, too! Thanks a lot for making this great idea come true!

Yeah, I'm working on it. I sent a letter to my host to increase the bandwidth. Hopefully, they get back to me soon. /crosses fingers
And, thank you Ibissi and Kwee! Ibissi, that is a good idea you have. I will think about it. I'm not sure if I will do it yet, but maybe in the future.
This is just to make you aware of the updates at Lightstrider Image Designs http://swg.atomicspacekitty.com(I haven't been image designing much lately, but I'm still active with the site.)
Major Updates:
--All the color palettes now reflect what image designers actully see in the I.D. user interface (I think I've already mentioned this update in the forums, but my brain isn't cooperating this afternoon...heh)
--I've added many new fashions to the "Style Ideas" section
Upcoming:
--I'll be adding a page for Twi'lek eyebrows now that we can change those (this is true, right? I personally haven't tried it yet, but I thought I saw Kwee mention it someplace)
The otehr day I went to the mall (I live in Vegas) and we went to Electronics boutique and my friend was trying to talk me into getting EQ "Come on its $30 for every expansion" blah blah blah, right? And I still stick by the fact that SWG is better. So He turns to this lady and asks what she thins is better,and she was an older lady and looked at us funny then the guy who worked there said SWG was. I got to talking to him and when I told him Im an image designer he said "yeah I checked out this really cool site. Atomicspacekitty or something you should look it up" I was like
*thought bubble*** Wow!***

Definetely the best SWG related site I have seen to date, and it even made the top 10 best sites!
Keep up the good work and if you ever feel as if yout caught up, definetely take up the directory idea for every server, you will be so famous! ^_-
