Kronin240 I'm on your side man. Since i so superbly stated it on another thread here it is again for your dining pleasure:

"if you EVER want a change to your character don't look to us to accomodate you...It's a mere time sink to keep your subscription active."

I have mastered this stupid profession and have not changed a thing about my character. Why would i? I already designed it at the start of this game. And since this profession is so crazy-easy to master it was nota very effective"time sink". It took me about 10 hours while running to missions to master this GAY profession. How can you feel a sense of pride or accomplishment when someone that kows nothing about this profession can waltz in here and MASTER it in 10 HOURS!? Try that with armor!!!!

To all the other people that are finding these truely evil sith holos that tell you to master ID...use my macro, take out the pause command, place it in you toolbar, and start it by tripple clicking it. This overlaps the macro, allowing you to click 'accept' as fast as you can. This creates 'already designing' errors but also gives you about 700 ID xp per minute depending on the speed of your computer and connection.

And to all you people with a 13 year old girl insideyou, that like this profession...have fun, i've got better things to do.

I dont know what everyone is talking about finishing this in 4 hours, Ive been doing it for a while now and cant seem to gain xp that quickly. Maybe im screwing up, but there seems to be some kind of hold timer b4 how quickly you can modify someone. Perhaps im using the wrong macro or something. Could anyone post their macro, or any other tip i might be missing? And for your information I finished my holo professions, and just wanted to try something completely different from my normal play style.

Hey, we've got a five year old inside us somewhere. It's just that some of us have the good sense not to let them do the talking for us.

Having holocrons make us master other professions is really a bad idea in the game. Your getting people that never intended to master or even try a profession have to master that profession. Really since Jedi are supposed to be a combat class in the extreme the devs should have implimented some other method for becoming a jedi. IF there is another way they should drop us a hint.

That's really just not true. Granted a jedi is an excellent fighter, but they are in no way simply restricted to combat. "Real" jedi are scholars, philosophers and diplomats, but no one ever pays attention to anything but the flashy lightsaber battles.

Bottom line: can't REALLY blame people for complaining when they WERE more or less forced into playing a class they dislike. I wouldn't go around with a wand making bounty hunters into ID'ers & expecting good results. But that's what SOE did, in essence. What if you had to suddenly switch from ID to, say, commando? Sell your salon, exchange your dress for some chitin armor & your makeup bag for an acid rifle& get ready to kill about 9 trillion bunnies.....

I'll have you know that I very rarely wear dresses.
