Can we add Bothan Facial Hair in the New Art content Area. Bothans are supposed to be hairy faced d00dz.
They even had all those screenshots of that Bothan with the sideburns beofre SWG officially launched and we have had countless Bothan Facial Hair threads in the past.
Power to the little people.

Howdy TechnoCan and ID posters,
I have 5 items that are very much in relation or support of the Top Issues.
1. Two additionalslots added to our heads. First slot is for more extensive Facial Hair like hair we can have on our heads. Im tired of the peach fuzz on my face for a mustache that no one really sees. If I want aPaint Brush covering my mouth then it could be had with a ID hair stylest.
The Second Slot is for advance Hair styling(ex. Queens of Naboo) and HATS! This is a tailor related issue also.
2. Twi'lek options: Barbals and Goutals around the neck or face. Take a short look at Bib Fortuna (the first Twi'lek we ever saw). In addition, teeth should have some style options such as sharpand/or colored. This might not be limited to Twi'leks as Darth Maul had blackend teeth.
3. Wookies will Have braids in Episode 3. New Wookiee grooming styles should be supported. If a player wants a Poodle cut Wookiee then the Master ID better know how to fluff. On a side note, most of the wookiees in Ep. 3 are variations of Brown in color, FYI.
4.Bothans are important to Star Wars lore but I have not seenOne standard repesentation of thier race. In every comic or Star Wars Art book they are different in style from our SWG species. I would like to see variations as different as Pug dogs to German Shepards. This of course would mean Muzzle adjustment. I also support Facial hair changes as well.
and finally...
5. Cybernetic Alterations. Many soldiers would love to sport a Cybnetic eye for a unique look. Many dark Jedi would love that too. Some enhancements might have Mods or skills attached but what Im asking is simply offering a different look. These items are in the Star Wars Movies if you look.
My interest in offering these ideas is to add to the Star Wars-yness of the game. These are not big issues such as the Combat Upgrade or GCW revamp but would be fun to have in making our charaters more unique from our fellow players. The extra Head lots is a big deal because that would call for a Image rebuild and the Developers are no where near doing something like that.
Just a few ideas I hope you might like.
edit: Im very sorry for the miss posts. I didnt know that happen until I really posted

There is nothing we Politicians would like better than for Master ID's to be able to place their beautiful tents in our towns. Except possibly something in our master box, but ID tents run a close second!

Technocan:
I'm a new ID (only 3/4/2/0) but I do have a few observations:
1.) Hairstyles - for humans, many of the hairstyles are just aweful and i cant imagine anyone wearing them. maybe some of them should be purged and new ones added. the #1 most played race in the game is human. im not saying look past the other races, but it doesnt take a genius to look at some of the hair styles and wonder if ANYONE in the entire game has that specific hairstyle
2.) You cant migrate your own stats. im sure that someone has touched on this, but if you can do others, you should beable to do yourself.
3.) Color Pallates are way too small. even on a 22 inch monitor the color pallates are so small
. i would suggest that when you get to a specific attribute that you would like to change, and the associated color pallate comes up, that there is a buttonthat you can toggle that wouldreplaces the entire right hand interface with an enlarged color pallate. this can be toggled back and forth of course. this would probably supply a pallate that is roughly 600% larger than the current one. the pallate is so small you can hardly tell what color the the very light "whites" are when it comes to say..twi'lek eyes. it appears to the naked eye that theres like 3 lines of pure "whites". but when you start clicking on them, you get very light shades of red, purple, blue etc.

Maybe its because i'm one of those old image designers who stat migrations pissed off, felt betrayed by the way the developers messed up the patch, and were generally unhappy, but the 2 biggest issues should be this:
1) Remove timers alltogether. While it allowed people toquickly level ID,most of the newbie master image designers weren't very good, and those that staid with the profession got the runoff business (making people feel happier!). While the new reduced timers certaintly help, they still make ID take an inordinate amount of time to master.
2) Remove stat migrations: one of the main reasons so many IDs I know, as well as myself quit ID, was because of the fact we were forced to deal with ungrateful combatants. This was the biggest blow to the definition of an IMAGE designer! maybe we can have image designers acceccelerate this process?
Finally, on the minor issues: would someone care to explain why novice ID costs less exp than 4-0-0-0 entertainer which costs as much as a teir 1 skill?

THE ABSOLUTE TOP 5 ISSUES TO BE ADDRESSED IMMEDIATELY SHOULD BE THE FOLLOWING IMO
1. Customer/ID availability (ID advertising)
2. Salon ball and chain
3. ID'ing vendors
4. Numbers for styles and sliders
5. Incorporating ID's into the player cities (either make cantinas - which ID's can place from what im told - duel function as a cantina/salon, give us an imaging terminal to place in structures, or introduce a new structure used as a salon).

Um you forgot to add Master IDs not having a Self ID timer. They say they already put it in the game but I aint seen it at all.
I love the numbers idea.
I want ID Terminal not droid and not tent
IDing Vendors at least the player race ones...they already have the art content for those ones
ID Advertsing. Maybe Make Holoemotes Craftables. I have tons of customers who just want refills on emotes. ITs somewhat of a pain to travel all that way just for something that could be made into a craftable.
Some sort of GCW Function. Many indications of disguise kits have been brought up

First off, awesome job making that list, Techno, thank you for all your hard work!
I do have something I'd like to add, though I don't know if anyone else agrees with me.... the characters *FIDGET*, and it's Irritating. Now, when you are just changing skin tone or dying hair, that's not a problem. However, it can be for eye color changes, and it certainly is a problem when a customer wants a complete facial restructuring. Granted, most people are happy with the faces they chose at the start, but when you *do* have that person who says, I don't like any of it change it all, it becomes very difficult for the IDer to watch the changes they are making. The character keeps looking away or up or down, and if you are trying to watch exactly what you are doing with one feature... well, it's difficult to concentrate to say the least (and you don't want to hit the reset button if you've also changed five or six other things). Is there anyway to turn off the fidgeting in our UI screen ?

Another thing that occured to me today, I know they are *lekku* markings, but why don't any of them go across the top or back of the head? It leaves the top of the head sort of... bare? That's more of a design issue and terribly minor compaired to my other point, lol, but was one of those "eh?" moments.

/agree!
I don't know how many times that's happened to me, it's so incredibly annoying!
And as for the lekku markings....there was something that was bugging me about them, but I couldn't put my finger on it. But that is it, exactly. It just looks kinda strange...

Bugs/function issues
-Fix the bug about clothing & armor showing other than what the person actually has on when the session is started.
-Stop the automatic rotation every time you make an adjustment. It's infuriating when working on chins and noses.
-The UI's total size needs to be used more efficiently. Details on the ID side are too small such as the color palette & there needs to be a scroll-in function for the face, especially on the client side - it's just too small.
- when muscle is added to a female, the shoulders should not increase in size
- when weight is added to a female, it needs to be different than a man with the hips and butt growing before the waist
- facial hair needs to be opaque at the least if not three dimensional with the full beard settings
Additions
-Masters should be able to self stat-migrate.
- Tattoos & other skin features
- Waist/Hip/Butt adjustment
- add number values back in, they shouldn't have been taken out
- 3D facial hair
Appearance Issues
- female bodies do not fit the pleasing to the eye proportions, waists are way too thick in comparison to the hips
- male Twi'lek faces have an unfinished look.Compared to females in any species, the men's faces are really unrefined, Especially the lips. Lips in general need to be fixed. Human females look like Lucille Ball in I Love Lucy.
- complete hands and feet - Especially the feet - right now they are some sort of gnarled stub as if the end of the foot was amputated

/agree with the above, well put. On the additions I would put "more hairstyles" instead of the ability to self stat migrate as my number one request.
On the issue of female bodyshape, I think Moonkat makes some good observations, but I wonder how much work would be involved to fix it. Would the model have to be redone from scratch? I've been a loud advocate for a hip/butt slider myself, but I am thinking more and more that a weight slider that worked realistically is really the key here. If the way so many players create their female characters with zero weight and max torso is any indication then a hip/butt slider could be (ab)used to create a "barbie" look that I could happily live without. Even so it seems to me that the current female model was based on the male and now suffers from it. Something needs to be done.

Last name changing? That's brilliant. I haven't been on in a few months and probably won't have time to play until the summer again, but the whole time I was playing before I was wondering why they didn't have that ability in game. Totally enhances our role as a social profession.
Besides that, the biggest thing that would bring me back early would be the addition of new art and temporary effects. We've been waiting so long for these though, any chance of them actually being implemented by the summer?

My top issues:
1. Clothes changing bug.
2. Colors are too small and difficult to remember. Also, would like to see a queue palate on the side of the last 3 colors I chose. Many time while examining colors with a client I hear, "No, go back two colors."
3. Allow me to fumble my fingers. I hit some combonation of keys sometimes that just makes the ID interface vanish. (I think it might involve the / key). I believe it makes me commit when the time is up since my clients can commit or cancel when I tell them about this.
4. More temp effects to bodies of all races.
5.Location! I am getting tired of the triangle of places looking for clients (Bestine, Theed, Coronet).
Thank you,
Ebigo Og-ob
