Thread: ID Macro: Please help...
"if you EVER want a change to your character don't look to us to accomodate you...It's a mere time sink to keep your subscription active."
I have mastered this stupid profession and have not changed a thing about my character. Why would i? I already designed it at the start of this game. And since this profession is so crazy-easy to master it was nota very effective"time sink". It took me about 10 hours while running to missions to master this GAY profession. How can you feel a sense of pride or accomplishment when someone that kows nothing about this profession can waltz in here and MASTER it in 10 HOURS!? Try that with armor!!!!
To all the other people that are finding these truely evil sith holos that tell you to master ID...use my macro, take out the pause command, place it in you toolbar, and start it by tripple clicking it. This overlaps the macro, allowing you to click 'accept' as fast as you can. This creates 'already designing' errors but also gives you about 700 ID xp per minute depending on the speed of your computer and connection.
And to all you people with a 13 year old girl insideyou, that like this profession...have fun, i've got better things to do.![]()

Maybe because I mastered this profession when it was actually an effort to do so, maybe because I was the first in the entire bloody game to master it, and yeah I do have leanings towards being a powergammer, but this is beyond doubt the profession with the most fun to time spent ration in the whole game. Maybe you don't change your look because you lack the imagination and creativity to think beyond anything other than how to PK with the least amount of effort. Stay the hell out of our boards.
Oh yeah, gay isn't an insult once you get out of grade school kid. Grow up or ask an older boy for some better put downs.

PS hay guys, I'm back.
Rdpmackie it took me more than a mere 10 hours to master ID. Whether you like it or not your playing the way the Devs invisioned you to play. Do as they say and you'll become a Jedi. Now whether you agree with this or not is your business and you keep playing, but we don't appreciate fly by night IDers bashing our profession.
I am proud to be a REAL AND TRUE ID not one where I was forced to learn by a holocron. I will never be a jedi because I do not agree with the timesink and forcing of professions. If I could wear a tag that said "Non holocon ID" I would proudly wear it.
I am nowhere near 13 and probably more mature than a lot of these fly by nighters
I too got ID from a holo, but I will not sit here and mock real IDs. I feel very sorry for them for Rdpmackies statments, and to you Rdpmackie, You have been reported for abuse. Theres no need for that kind of language, and you do not deserve to be a Jedi.
I have mastered this stupid profession and have not changed a thing about my character.
There is more to mastering this profession thangrindingout the xp to get the title of Master. If you think you have masteredID, then you are sorely mistaken. You,I'm afraid, will never be able to master ID.

Unfortunately people have reported being logged out for up to two hours, coming back and still being bugged
When it happens to me I pretty much give up hope of doing ID for the evening. There is something similar that happens when you tailor, where you can no longer craft and with that I have found that spamming tailoring macros on myself fixes it. I wonder if something like that would work for ID hmm.
This bug can be traded between players at least. If there is someone in your group who isn't looking for an ID change anytime soon you can use them to get rid of it on yourself or some other bugged person.
Select the unbugged person. type /im. (to get the first ID window open) Next select the bugged person (if it is you hit ctrl 1 to select yourself). and offer an ID change via code. I use /imagedesignsetvalue eyeshadow 1(turn eyeshadow on)because it is harmless and changes nothing... unless you can wear eyeshadow and choose not to, which is pretty rare.
The bugged person shouldget the window appear that says "so and so wants to design your eyeshadow" They can either hit accept, or refuse, and be unbugged. You can offer any kind of change via code if you want... but if it is a change they don't want just tell them to refuse.
The problem with this is it trades the bug to the person you used to open the /im window. If you used yourself then you will be bugged and have to find someone else to bug in order to ID yourself again. Hehe reminds me of the Ring =p. But it DOES go away.... if you log out overnight at least, heh... otherwise i'd feel bad trading it to people.
