I ID close friends for free, old customers that arejust aboutfriends for a discount and I'll occasionally do something little for free (like if they are just coming in for a haircut). I actually haven't had any friends or acquaintances ask for a stat migration yet. I'd prob do about the same if I had the time to fly to Bestine, free for close friends, discount for others

Yeah... I'm slowly coming to this conclusion myself. The only problem is, I don't know where I'd go if I left my city. *shrug*

I was just wondering... has anyone else encountered this? How do you handle dispensing services forfriends, guildmates, fellow citizens? I absolutely cannot STAND it when someone demands my services - this is the biggest reason I dropped doctor. Was constantly getting "I demand you come here and buff me!" Drove me up the wall. I'd like to hear how others deal with this.

My friends don't sass me. That's why they're my friends.

I dunno, I must be strange, but I across the board give friends, neighbors, and guildmates free ID services. Reason being is I am also a master tailor, and they are always giving me hides, fiberplast, special components for absolutely free. Why shouldn't I give something back?

I guess I just surround myself with awesome people, because no one demands I give them anything. Infact, many of them try to tip me, and I have to argue with them not to.

However, I do not hesitate to charge between 10k-20k for non friends and guildmates. Periodically, when I am in a philisophical mood, I don't even set a price. I just say, "How much is my time worth to you?" 9 times out of 10, I have gotten ENORMOUS tips from people (upwards to 100k, no joke).

It all evens out in the end.
