A little more brainstorming


The Social Adventure should be non-combat or at lest very little combat and it should encourage grouping but not force grouping. Sence it will have little to no combat there needs to be anther challenging aspect I think it would be fun to have puzzles, riddles and a maze to go though.


To encourage grouping I'm thinking it would be cool if prizes/rewards was based on who you are grouped with. so if a dancer solos a stage the dancer will get dance-01, and when the dancer groups with a Smuggler for a stage of the adventure the dancer will get dancer-04. ( I hope this makes sense )


P.S. I like to see "Social Adventure" posted in the "in-concept" forum...

Its very interesting Kwee. Especially the social quests. I didnt read about a second Image design content change. Do you have any idea when ideas like stat migration etc. will be due?


About Ideas for that quest, I am only brainstorming here. Didnt think how much i like it myself.


Quest themes:

- A smuggler gets an assignment to smuggle an item or person across a border. But he needs not only to be able to talk well,

he also needs a disguise. For this he needs a real image designer. After getting a disguise he can do the rest of the quest.

Maybe he would need not only a disguise but a special charisma-buff that muscians/dancers can give.

What would be different is that cooperation is needed. That could be nice. The disadvantage is that the Image desinger is not

very active in obtaining the reward he / she gets. I am not sure its implementable. Maybe someone has ideas that makes it

better.

- Fitness-(re)quest - An image designer gets the request to train a camp of stormtroopers/rebels (enhance muscles) on a

certain location. If we like the coorporation idea implemented in more quests, maybe the quest can be continued. For instance

the troopers need food or clothing as well and ask you to fetch a chef and tailor. The idea would be then that all participants

get a reward. (New food schematics, tailor schematics?)

- A dancer gets a quest to perform a special new dance. But he/she needs to get training for this to be able to perform at all. For

thisthe dancerneeds a image designer. (maybe even a band is needed and new clothing).


Maybe the idea should be in this coop-quests that the one taking the quest (leading party) gets the best reward, like an super-schematic with special bonuses or new abilty. The rest get something more "plain" like one more normal schematic or a new hairdo.


Reward: special new content like a new hairdo or a tattoo, maybe the ability of crafting items or image designing vendors (although i am not sure i like the idea of getting that only people doing the quest get the ability but pls respond if u like it or not)

I dont think money would be good as a reward. Because it would look too much like like a normal image design request. I would prefer the real contact with a person above a quest.

  1. A mirror! For god's sake, my salon has no mirrors and it needs at least one! Other random useless decorative junk. I like useless decorative junk. (Hell, I went Imperial just to run their useless junk giving quests—mmmm, painting of Endor )

  2. All of the above. As many different factional affiliations as possible.

  3. Uhm…that's a toughie. Especially since our profession is very much a subjective one (beauty being in the eye of the beholder and all) it would be hard to give any sort of objective goal to meet that, to me, would be meaningful. "Change all of NPC X's facial features"? Nah…doesn't mean the changes would be good…. I'm at a loss on this one.

  1. I think we should wish Big, something equal to a song or dance. But paintings, mirrors, and other house stuff would be very cool. I would be very happy with a hot-tub or indoor pool.
  2. I really like Naboo, maybe a Naboo Police base. I'm open to any and all.
  3. I would enjoy a maze, maybe have it so that to complete a mission you and anther member of your group has to press two bottons(that are hidden in deferent parts of the base)at the same time. Also to get pass same guards a entertainer need to get their attention so other members can sneak pass them. or a smuggler can fast talk your way pass them.
