question for all you IDers. i know in the next patch im going to have to find a image designer to migrate my stats. has there been any talk about this concerning going beyond the normal? exsample im a zabrak my normal willpower is max at 900 will image designers be able to take it past that to say like a human whos is1100? if not i think it should be brought up. i mean if there going to give you this cool new ablity the shouldn't just go half way with it.

by doing this and giving you this ablity they will not only make me happy but everyone else in the game. just a thought

Doesn't sound like it. Their just nerfing you. If ID's are now supposed to be personal trainers they should be able to boost you're physical stats.If stat enchancementslasted 30 days now that's something I'd probably pay an ID for. I'd actually pay quite a bit for that.

Yes exactly, let the ID "buff" your normal stats, but leave the option of (or since the patch is being installed as I write, change it back) stat migration up to the individual player. It's bad enough the economy is messed up (i.e. 200 cpu 5 mil for an AV-21) now we have to pay to alter OUR OWN character stats. LOL that is absurd. Each patch kills the game little by little.

Looks like this is strike two out of three. If JtLS dosen't live up to all the hype, then I'm gone.

Image Designers cannot migrate their own stats. You'll have to find another ID on Gorath to help you.

Ok, that's kinda what I figured. I guess they did that so everybody and their dog doesn't get novice ID just to migrate their own stats.

I'm a rifleman/ranger and recently did a stat migration.

Here's what my stats look like now.

Health=1000

Strenght=530

Constitution=400

Actiion=860

Quickness=530

Stamina=400

Mind=450

Willpower=450

Do these seem good?

No, you should put as much as you can into your mind and and minds secondary stats. You can get 2500 buffs for the rest. As a rifleman you burn mind faster than anything even with food and brandy. Also, you can heal health and action but not mind.

That is my two cents anyway, hope it helps

I have all my stats to mind..... because of the buff dependent game. When I was a TKA/Doc this worked well since I could self-buff all the time. I've recently switched to Rifleman/Ranger and I HATE waiting in line for buffs (which is why I went Doc in the first place, no the waiting is WORSE).

Was thinking about altering my stats so I could try playing unbuffed (doc buffed).... is this even a viable option anymore? I remember I used to play unbuffed all the time (in the early days), but now it seems impossible.

Well I'm trying not to be too buff dependent. I spend at least 8k on repairing my damn swoop and about 20k on buffs daily. Used up 100k in like a week with just those.

What should my skills look like for buff and not buff situations?

Buffed 400/400/400, 400/400/400, 1100/1100/800

Unbuffed 600/600/400, 600/600/400, 800/800/600

With the unbuffed stats you should be able to fire about 20 specials without draining your health and action completely. You will still need to drink brandy and canape to keep your mind up, but you should be fairly effective. With those stats you can even wear light ubese and be alright. But, long and short is buffs pay for themselves in 1/2 of 1 mission, so I'd still recommend going with the "buffed" option, but that just me.

<Why? Why? Why? No thats a terrible migration especially for a rifleman. If you are a human use Mind 1100, Willpower 1100, Focus 800. Why would you do anythign else? If you are not human, max your willpower, then mind then focus. Why with the way the game works nwo would nayone NOT max their mind stats out?>
