Thread: I hate the ID tent now

I don't know why we have tents. Be cool if we could place our own Salon in a Player city. Chefs, Musicians, Dancers all get structures they can place in cities, why not us ?

Well I'm decorating a small naboo house outside theed to be it. However I kinda like the Salon's, they are kinda nice looking

Well, the tents are no longer required for anything, so there would be no reason to make one for player cities etc. You can use any structure as your salon now.
. But I'll live without it

The tents are filled with.. well. Last time I was there. A noob. In red hot pants and a storm trooper helmet. With master image designer tag above his head. Doing nothing else than hanging around.. talking nonsense.
I remember those days when ID's were respected. Where only the dedicated ones became imagedesigners.
Those were the days...

when i was first a im where ever i went i had people wait you the first MId iv seen in 3 weeks, and others bowing and calling me king(this is true) now i do image design and i say ok plz tip... their like but the other mid's do it free. i make little money, i enjoy im still but it is almot imposible to work with our currently broken UI

I DEMAND respect. People know that if they don't treat me with something resembling basic courtesy, I will think nothing of ignoring them and going about my business.
On my server no one ever enters a tent, not even in coronet, (on valcyn, that is stil the main hub of travel).
i get customers hust walking around with my id tag on. usually i get alot of respect, and people are very happy to see me.
I love this profesion, it's the first time i did a non combat profession, and i looooooooooveeeeeee id'ing people.
specially the first timers, showing them what you can do for them and all. i am also working ontailor, and if the person is a noob, i might throw in a pair of newby pants or something.
but this is so social, so pleasant, if you just take the time, i leave tipping usually up to their disgression, because i believe a tip is like a reward for a good job. And i have been shocked by what people offer mesometimes, not that i refuse, but i do notice people are incredibly happy to see me....
now what profession gives you that much satisfaction? i can not think of one really, and did i tell you i love this job?...
ooh and with people i can't help because of bugs? i get back to them as sson as they are gone, and help them to the est of my ability!
