let me add something:
all species with lips:
- more red lip colors
never had anyone yet asking me for a blue, yellow, brown or green lip color...
That reminds me last night I was playing around with character creation and found a "true black" it was for lips of all things. Goth look anyone

Ok, sorry if this has been reposted or updated, but I have one more thing to add to Wookiees (and by extension probably Bothans too.) In the Young Jedi Knight series, Lowbacca's sister has shaved patterns in her fur...it'd be cool if in-game wooks could have the same option.

If I'm not mistaken that was a 'popular fad' amongst the younger generation of Wookie's on Kashyyk at the time. Kind of like unconventional peircings. You know what I mean.

Not to put a damper on the party, but shaved patterns are not apropriate for Bothans. Bothans communicate mood and tone via their fur in much the same way that Twi'leks do with their Lekku. I could see bleached patterns (I have one described in my bio for my Bothan toon) but shaved would be…bad.

This is true, Bothans do use their fur to communicate, but that doesn't stop humans in today's world from altering themselves in ways that can hinder natural processes: breast enhancements, tongue piercings, sex changes (if that doesn't disrupt communications I don't know what does.
), eye jewelry (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/4685961/), and more. These are more "mainstream" things than I've seen on some people, so it just goes to say that not everyone is concerned about body alterations. For a SW reference to this, look at Nolaa Tarkona, she had her Lek'ku tattooed.
Now, this isn't to say you're not correct about fur-shaving being a bad idea for Bothans, in fact I agree with you, if I were a Bothan, I wouldn't want my fur shaved for exactly the same reasons you stated, but still, some people have this fascination with altering what they were born with.

Sorry for trolling but some of the ideas for the trandoshan are just wrong.
Trandoshan
- Back ridges (they simply do not have these not to mention the problems it would cause clothing and armor model wise)
- Blush (the Trandoshan are a warrior race they just dont use makeup)
- More Body colors (whiteto dark grey, two toned colours, Stripes) (read the official data on trandoshans they simply do not
- come in those colors although some two toning wouldn't hurt that badly)
- more distinction between males and females. (maybe some but the Trandoshan genders are VERY similar they are lizards you know)
- nailpolish for my claws.....esential to the female trandoshan (not only un-esential but just wrong for the trandoshan, if you wanted to get gaudy you should not be a trandoshan)
Now i dont want to seem mean but i just dont want a bunch of rainbow colored trando's running around when the spiecies is just NOT like that, this game already dosn't feel like star wars and i dont want it to get any worse..
Firstly, I would not say your trolling, in fact thank you for your imput,
also I like to add these are not all my ideas this list is a combonation of all the wishes I could find. Most I like and some I don't.

The females of non human species that would be affected by any of these changes are living among many other speciesand being bombarded by a new culture far away from their home planets. It makes sense that the females might want to tinker with makeup and other adornments
