Honestly no. As a Dancer and Image Designer I don't need yet another way for little boys and childishmen to alude to my being a sex toy for their enjoyment.

Haha yup... I dunno how I would respond to someone asking me for a "happy ending"

EEP!

It's easy enough.. you take out a pistol, and shoot them in the forehead. Several times, if possible.

Oh.. wait.. they meant happy ending for THEM! Silly me.

Honestly... Cyber gratuitous violence vs Cybersex.... ehh.. I'll take Cyber gratuitious violence. It's more my taste, but I know there are people that are the other way, and more power to them, I say.

I probably should have given more response. Neige, this is an ok idea and it does fit in RP with certain aspects ofour Entertainment role, but the likelihood it it happening is slim to none. Here's why:

(1) Wound Healing- Only Medics and their offshoots are supposed to be able to heal people's Health and Action wounds. I know TKA's can heal themelves, but that ability is a little unbalancing already. There's autoregen in game, true, but that's mostly for minor wounds, and it comes with tremendous time penalties. Basically, this would be taking the role of another profession.

(2) Short buff- there are already too many ways to uber yourself via buffs. Food, Spice, Doctors, Dancers, Musicians, TKA's... I can't say this won't happen, or isn't possible, but demand would be very low, except if the buff was very high, in which case most ID's I know would hate it.

(3) Shorten timer of Disease/Poison, remove Doctor and Spice buffs (downers I assume)- This is way, way, way overpowered. It would lead to people taking ID just to heal themselves in battle.

Shorten Poisontimer is kind of less useful, in that by the time you reach an ID, the poison will be gone, and the damage healed. Most CM poisons do so much damage that shortening the timer wouldn't help much at all.

Shorten Disease? This is a high level Doctor skill we are talking about, and shortening it would significant reduce it's effects. While it would be useful, I don't see the justification in skill point costs in our profession.

Remove Doctor/Spice buffs. Why? All you need to do is log your character off for 15 minutes, and your buffs go. Or you can die, and have a Doctor revive you. The downers on Spice are needed to differentiate between Spice and Food. Spice is a little nerfed now, but the Devs have said that uberring it back up is something that will happen. When it does, this kind of ability would be overpowering.

In rl.... you walk into a full spa and what do you expect?
You can get your nails done, your hair done, waxing, skin care...
Oh and what? A massage! Yes my friends, in rl when you go to a
spa, you can purchase a massagge. So in my opinion, this totally
falls under the image designer category. By Rl standards anyway.

You walk into a spa and walk out three inches taller? Hmm... you go to strange spas. Personally I like to get my hair done by a hair dresser not someone who can give backrubs and tell me in a husky voice that I am so tense. Maybe that's just me, but the RL argument makes little sense.

Incidentally, it's not only the doctors on whose toes you're standing it's also the Chefs. Ever heard of Smuggler's delight? It makes spice downers go away faster. The functions that are mentioned in this game are already in the game. It would be a bit superfluous.

if it's superfluous, it's for the image designer profession. Superflu is what we are all about !

(ahah got you on this one)

I will concede that my choice of words wasn't the best, perhaps the word 'redundant' comes closer to what I had in mind. There is of course a difference between things that are not necessary to implement because they are already there, and things that are not necessary because they serve no critical function. Ok, one point for you.

Hmm, I have seen so many of these that it almost isn't funny anymore. However, I'm wondering just where the giant neon sign is that says "a sexy Image Designer is a single Image Designer." I like to keep my Twi'lek in good shape, with bright markings and nice clothes, it just helps to look the part. (After all, we don't want some random scary looking creep working on our perfect faces, now, do we?) But I had this one guy absolutely become smitten with me because I did a free SM for him. I'll admit, I'm too nice. I could tell from the way he behaved and his lack of badges and titles that he was a noob, but then he proceeded to stick around and tell me about his terrible life, his real life, and I started to feel sorry, until I remembered, "Hey, this could be my neighbor. Oh the joys of the internet!"

So, yeah, I don't mind flirting or getting hit on in game, in fact, it makes the tips easier and in the area where I work (Bestine, Bria) It's usually the same broup of people. Flirting is fun and harmless, just as long as both parties know where it stops.

The other thing that somewhat bothers me is how every single human male pretty much has the same skin tone. All the zabrak guys I get want to look like darth maul. And, one thing I personally do agree with, us ladies want more booty, without sacrificing the waistline. I hate having to explain that I can't do that.

O the poverty of western modern aesthetics

O the bareness of our youth's imagination

O the money to be made of these

... its a wookiee haiku, enjoy.
