Actually having a set price won't drop your tips. Even charging 5K for a top of the line hairstyle, I'm frequently tipped anywhere from 1-5K extra. Let your clients know you price list upfront, be helpful and polite, and above all if they look good in a cheaper hairstyle, reccomend that they go for it instead of a more expensive one that looks worse. We're there to make people look their best, do a good job and you'll be rewarded above and beyond your price list.
