Well, to be fair, making it so that ID xp stacked would be alot more than simply changing a single value. And it would require a great deal of "running the numbers" to determine an adequate setting. It's something that should have happened with the Mini-Publish honestly, and I wish I was active/playing in the testing phase then so offer that suggestion up. But "too late" is my own fault.

Yes, I understand that, and now that it wasn't done in the minipub it's not likely to be done for a long, long time.... I just can't help griping.

Everyone who's cool should come play more on TC so we can try to prevent this stuff from happening again.WithKwee working so hard, we might actually be able tochange things (pipe dreamer). Uncool people, please stay on live

Current main character: Saersha, Privateer and Jack-of-all-Trades (Flurry)

A few cases of carpal tunnel will be caused by all this ID buiz heh.....

In the end I think another poster I saw here is right, this is it, the increase tostat migrationxp is the change they feel balances the profession and makes it fun again (YAY!!) /sarcasm

I guess we must all assume the intention is for ID to be as it is, for it to bring about a certain degree of anger to the profession from those not already masters. Guess this is what Runesabre wanted all along.

We might also assume that when looking at the professions as a whole, he decided the ID profession unbalanced the game in the speed at which it was gained (true actually, 2 hours is far too fast) and decided that a step slower than Bounty Hunter would be closer to a fit, given the imbalance in the SWG world caused by too many ID.

And lastly one might think Runesabre believes we are the mumbling masses, and that if he reads two or three ID's in support of his vision for ID it is all worth it, as surely hisplan for IDwill eventually become loved, as is the plan for smugglers, (when it hits, after christmas?) as was the plan for letting players grind 30 jobs to become jedi. (cause we ALL saw luke shaking it in the Mos Eisley cantina so ben would teach him the ways of the jedi.)

Dont mean to be too hard on RS, he has a tough job, and Lord knows you can never please everyone. THIS player for one would just like a post from RS here or on his own new thread, explaining 1) why the ID population on this forum has not had a response from the devs on why they claimed on the day 8.1 hit they wanted the "casual" gamer to master ID in a month or so, and continue to hold a line making only the hard core gamer capable of fulfilling that time table, and 2) the lack of information as to what changes still lie over the horizon, or if changes are coming at all.

If this is it, let us know, if we can hope for more, let us know that.

pretty please with spice on it

Petitions are pointless on this forum because they have never listened to us.
