He's back, he asked me to repost my question asking for more detail. We may not get it as fast as we'd like but it's coming. The devs are super swamped getting Pub 9 ready for live.

Rather than add new music just for the ID tents, a real insult to the musicians who are desperate for new music, why not allow dancer and musicians to heal and buff in the tents? This would add ambiance to the tents and give at least a little something to the dancers and musicians who are being totally ignored by the DEVs.
Of course then you would probably end up with ID tents full of AFK buffbots, (/sigh) I guess there is no way to win against SOE's desire to destroy the entertainer professions.

Agreed. At the same time it will be a way for higher level Image Designers to grind faster than lower levels - I think it's ridiculous that the change I get at ID 2 in the ent tree is the most xp I can get. Compare that to a high level Musician, who does get more xp for more advanced instruments.

Well, as said, a mini-cantina is silly.
And there's nothing that stops a musician [or perhaps an ID/Musician] from performing in the Salon as is.
You can still perform while in the ID screen [start the ID screen, then startmusic].
Hiring a musician would probably be more viable for a more casual player owned Salon though.
