I don't understand why some of you ID's in this messageboard are so negative about the statmigration.. Seriously all the IDs I meet out there "in the real world" (in the game) are very happy about it.. but the people who are happy nearly never make it to theese messageboards..

My char has been an ID for months now.. and I have done loads of statmigrations the last weeks.. Ive only had 3 complaints about price and I charge 15k. Those complaints was from beginners.. When I found out they were beginners I gave them a "beginner" price. All my id FRIENDSI have asked have not had any problems about harasments... And I have never had to statmigrate a person more than once! and belive me Ive done a lot of them.

Statmigration have given me a lot of work aswell as most people like to talk and 80% of all my statmigration customers leave with a new hairstyle etc... I praise the devs for giving our profession this gift.

It is also a great help for novice IDs to get into business as they can statmigrate..

Many people on this forums are the ones who are not IDs but use this forum in their anger and frustration about not being able to statmigrate themselves like they used to. But from the comments Ive got in the game most people are happy about it and love the fact that they now only have to wait 10 mins.. and get the chance to sosialice with an Imagedesigner.

Remember those who gets the complaints are those who charge an foot and an arm for it.. like 20k and upwards.. As a dancer I gave buffs (dancebuffs) and for weeks I danced for 10 mins to buff the people and I charged 5-8 k for it.. people were very happy to find a masterdancer.. The same thing aboud ID and statmigration it is not bad and doing migrations for a fair price 10-15k will make most people very happy.

no no no please! Its bad enough with all the empty vedors around.. dont let people travel around to find empty ID tents.. The ID with ID tent are great.. people learns where to find an ID.. its to dangerous for an ID to travel arund in the wildernes.. If that is a case for anyone better to make a droid that works like the tent... or to make it able to ID in the camps...

Hi, I'm a MID on Shadowfire and I just thought i would give you a sample of what the attitude is over here on the forums and in-game. I maybe should have just posted a link to the thread but i think my reply pretty well summed up the general attitude of MIDs and the general population here. Sorry i don't post here often and that this is so long, but to read the whole thread would be longer. So here goes.... :

OK, I understand your frustration, i was one of the folks blasting the idea as soon as went to test. Having said that let me make 2 points on this part of your last post:

1) it is true that it might take you a couple days to find one of the least appreciated professionals in the game, but it is better than waiting 2 weeks.

2) i can attest to the fact that most people who are actively IDing or even wearing the tag (if you notice I dont anymore but am still master id) may appear to be afk but probably aren't. People drwan to that profession for any length of time are social people and like me, prolly have 2-10 conversations going on anyways...if they are IDing they can't move out of that window and so they are a bit hard to get the attention of. And yeah, I and others are paid the big bucks to do stat migrates...but think about it, i can't count how many times i went and got my doc buffs, went to get my mind buffs (no master dancers cant buff themselves) and wham 3 or 4 strangers want me to stat migrate them right away as my group heads out to the DWB or whatnot. each one takes 10 minutes of my time assuming no travel or other waste of time like conversing with you or telling you how to get to the tent or anything else. So is my ten + minutes worth ten thousand credits? yes. is it worth it to you? i dont know, how bad do u want those stats changed? Anyways back to the tent...

The coronet tent is in a crap location for starters , not near anything per se......can't remember the others off top of my head......

In Coronet hun the tent is actually hidden but NOT out of the way. It is right next to shuttle "B" and the Cantina...just go through that little park (its a pretty walk...try it, it soothes frazzled nerves. just press shift while moving), you can actually see the tip of it as you walk through bushes and such.

Well, that's it, hope it's relavent. I too am glad there are people who enjoy the change. I'm still on the fence and feel that if some fixes are made that Kwee mentioned above, things might get better

heres a quick idea..not sure it works for everyone but I have been lucky enough to have it work on SEVERAL occasions.

target a player and type in /open now

It opens their pack and shows you what they have equipped...

Some guy (several people as a matter of fact) came into the tent asking for a stat migration.

I said that I charge 20k and explained WHY I charge that,It takes MY GAME TIME to do migrations.

I have asked around on Tarquinas and thats the going rate from most if not all the MIDs there (novices not included)

He called me a *itch and a *unt..several other verbally abusive words...so I did the /open now option,he had on 80% composite armor (very expensive) he also proceeded to tell me that he was once aMID and he thought that we shouldnt even charge to do them,since they didnt cost us anything to grind (sorry buddy,I paid to learn my skill).

I told him to make another MID and TRY to migrate his stats himself.I also told him that if he could afford that nice armor he should be more than able to pay the going rate for the migration.

I still get people that say they wont pay 20k for the migration,but most are nice about it.

I also examine them to see how many badges they have,if they dont have many it usually means they arent very rich and I try to give them a break.

OK,I'm ranting..lol..at any rate I wholeheartedly agree with Fuschia!

Looks like the exp has gone from one extreme to the other. Just needs a little more tweaking so its somewhere in the middle. Right now I think casual gamers are totally put off mastering ID only the dedicated few are taking up the skill.
