I have noticed SEVERAL times over the last couple of weeks that the color density for facial hair seems to be much lighter, specifically for the black/gray/white shades. Has anyone else caught themselves pondering this, or am I just losing it?

It does seem that when matching facial hair colour to hairstyle colour, a slightly brighter shade is used for the facial hair.
I think it gives a good complementing colour. We don't want people's faces to become too boring or too dull.

I often go several shades darker to make the facial hair match the head hair, but I thought it was a volume thing. Hmmm.
This is somewhat off topic - but did they majorly change the female human body structure? I changes someone last night who had a good amount of weight on her and therefor had the classic no0waist look. I clicked once on the weight slider to move it a tiny bit down and Whoosh! Insta-waist!
While I sat there with my mouth open, staring at the screen, the customer siad: Wow! That looks great! You are good!
Errrr.... thanks...
She tried on hawtpants and her butt looked great too. ??? Did I miss the memo?
I encourage all humans who haven't been ID'd since the patch to go get their waists adjusted!

I also go a couple shades darker on the facial hair to try to match the head hair color. Especially with blonde colors. You'll pick the same box for both and the facial hair is almost neon, blinding bright. Looks weird in my opinion. Gotten used to it though.
But yeah..as for the waist thing, I think for a while it was giving females the male body structure because when I first started ID, way before the publish, and was changing the weight of my alt it gave her a very..manly body stucture with broader shoulders and less of a waist. Then after the publish when I IDed her again, she got her waist back again. Hehe.

I' always looking for a darker facial hair colour.
Me too, but it's hard when you have black hair, and your facial hair is set to what LOOKS like the same color, but actually just makes you look like you have strategically placed dirt on your face. /sigh

Yes this was fixed. Our dev found the bug that was causing the loss-of-female-shape issue while changing the code over to the new UI.

It seems to me that the facial hair options have always been a little lighter compared to their haircolor counterparts, especially with the black/white palette. Unless it has gotten even lighter lately I'm not sure it's something new. I especially notice the difference with eyebrow color when trying to match ejebrow & haircolor. On female chars it doesn't look too bad because it just appears that their brows aren't too thick. But on male chars with facial hair it just makes them look like little boys who can't really grow a beard yet. 3d male facial hair that matches their haircolor counterparts would be much better....maybe someday.

It looks to me like it's even lighter recently. But maybe some setting on my graphics card got changed. /shrug I was just wondering if anyone else had noticed it too.
