Thread: Trandoshan with hair????
I ran across a customer the other day that had obviously had an image designer use an exploit to give him, a Trandoshan, hair - Zabrak hair if you look at the screenshot, notice the horns. He asked if I could color his hair for him and I flatly refused him, plus I reported him to boot. Here'sa nice screen of it:

So, here's my question, would you image design a character that has used an exploit? Also, does anyone know the code to use to get rid of an exploit such as this? I detest the use of an exploit and if I would have know the code, I would have removed his hair without a seconds notice.

P.S. He's on the Corbantis server, goes by the name of Lien Rro, please contact him and remove the exploited hair.
Ah, I noticed this also, but in a different form. A male human had a female hairstyle, the one with the single braids, with the little bead things on the ends. I didn't turn him down for an image design though.

considering it was the image designer using the exploit and not the customer, that was harsh indeed. The average joe knows jack about image design, he probably asked if he could have hair and was given that w/out any explanation of the process.
Bad form. ![]()
If the guy wanted hair, then he should have picked a species that had hair. I don't think it's harsh, but I guess we're all welcome to our own opinions, aren't we?

And to boot, it's against the rules of conduct (more people should really read these things):
12. You will not exploit any bug in Star Wars Galaxies, and you will not communicate the existence of any such exploitable bug either directly or through public posting, to any other Sony Station member. You will promptly report such bugs via the /bug command in-game or by emailing [email protected]. Exploitable bugs include, but are not limited to bugs that grant the user unnatural or unintended benefits in-game.

Not everyone KNOWS that though, how many times have you done ID? You know the GP doesn't know everything about what is available to a Master ID.
Yes, you're entitled to your own opinion. I am too!
LOL You obviously didn't even read my post, I'm not gonna bother replying to yours anymore.
LOL, I was replying to theshuuji, sorry I didn't mention that in my earlier post, but you can assume it was directed at you too Natasia. And he knew that he couldn't have hair but asked for it anyway (that text was further up in my chat window). So both him and the unscrupulous image designer knew it was wrong but did it anyway.

I had a similar bug that was really cool. What happened was I got my lekku style changed by a master ID and my old set stuck to my helmet so when I put my helmet on I had two pair of lekku. It looked pretty neat though one day I logged in and it was fixed :-/
Only thing i can say is its a game, if you wanna report a bug fine, "i saw some people with the wrong species hair" fine - but saying "Teacher teacher robbie came to school dressed as a Zabrak today!!!" is kinda going well overboard - then to go to the boards and err boast?
right... game... say it with me... game... but if you want it to be real and life like all i can say is - im sure Wal-mart sells razor blades i wont tell on you ...
