Thanks Just_Bri...I was wondering when the revisions were coming out. Though sadly I believe that I should be done with NID by then and enter the ranks of the MIDs.

(To the Devs) I am not going to play your silly little grinding game, and you can't make me.*
*No, I was not threatening to cancel my subscription.
Edit: Fancy that! This reply got me Community Elder status.

I, for one, feel bad for the Smugglers! They've been promised their fix (haha.. get it? Fix . .. oh ...
)since close to launch and now they have to wait until after Lightspeed. Ouch.
But uh.. yay for timer fix.

Yep...
Of course, the smuggler has been plagued with a number of "core features" being reworked to where the original [and transient] smuggler concept just failed to produce
.
Really sad for the smugs though.

Oh how this makes me laugh. This part inparticular:
"We could take 4 different approaches in our communications with you:
- Not tell you anything
- Give you the party line
- Try to get everything done and not do them well
- Do things right and tell you the truth
I want to tell you the truth. I want you to know what our priorities are, and what we are working on, and why things change. I guarantee some folks are going to scan this entire schedule, find the one line in it that refers to them, and go off about it. The truth is that we want to polish our game as much as we can, and we don't want to put out half-baked publishes. Part of the pain of hearing the truth is that it changes."
Oh that's classic. Apparently they "don't want to put out half-baked publishes"...could've fooled me..
I'm also trying to remember at what point they tried to "Do things right and tell you the truth" during our little minipublish? Eh.

Sorry everyone, for some reason the publish schedule was taken down. The link above now defaults back to TH's interview. If you look in the JTL forum, someone who had coppied it to word reposted it.

Maybe they meant they don't want to put out any more half-baked publishes.

It was taken down because the real answer is that they don't want to tell us anything.

Good point. But if they'd put the "anymore" part into their little schedule, that would mean admitting they screwed up

Which aparantly they can't do.
Dev Fred: Hey Bob, doesn't look like anyone's using these junk vendors.
Dev Bob: Think we should call it a wrap and yank 'em?
Dev Fred: Nah, we'll just revamp 'em.
Dev Bob: Hey Fred, those junk vendors still aren't getting used.
Dev Fred: Hm. I know! We'll add new loot that can only be assembled by visiting a junk vendor! That's force those uncooperative players to use 'em!
Dev Bob: Uh…Fred? Isn't the loot you're adding better suited for inclusion in the Architect skill trees?
Dev Fred: Shut up.

Haha, indeed. I think the problem with admitting you've screwed up is that then implies you're going to fix it, or at least act in some way.
