Thread: New Art Content Wish List

Each ID'er please list three suggestions for an art content poll I will be doing in the next day or two. And nothing obscure please such asnose rings for Mon Calamari females Things that would impact as many players as possible


Note this is not the poll yet, just a place for us to share our art content wish list items So don't feel you have to repeat what other people are saying just because you really like the idea


As always please post a brief little sentence with no explanation.

1. New hairstyles, ridges, frills, lekku, patterns for Mon Cal, Twi'leks, Wookiees, etc.


2.Body modifications such as tatoos, scars, and piercings.


3. More temporary ID effects (new holo-emotes, partical effects as original described [glitter, hair clips, etc.]).

1- More patern, marking, and tatoo options for all applicable races ( and there is no reason to restrict markings to the "standard" races. )


2 - A more robust Twi'Lek head customisation range, such as lekku length and thickness; and other Twi'lekhead customisation options. Having only the "hang" of the lekku to modify is rather limited, and is something that should be given to the individual Twi'lek player. I mean, these are muscular appendages after all.


3 - A more robust system for hairstyles, which would allow for things like ponytails and/or bangs protruding from underneath the edges of headgear. This should also include "hairstyles" for wookies. I mean, all that hair is just begging for braiding and beads and such...

Q: "When will Image Designer recieve additional content, such as hairstyles, tatoos, etc?"


A: It's not in the plans at the moment. Content like Image Designers customization is a large part of the lag many experience in game. They feel that resources for Image Design content is better used on content that other players desire more.






So I guess I kinda don't see the point of coming up with art ideas since they don't seem to want to do them. Unless you know something we don't know. *shrug* But, since you asked, some things I'd like to see in no particular order:


1. Multi-color hair styles
2. More eyebrow choices

3. Freckle coloring

4. 3D facial hair for males

  2. Body art (tattoos, piercings)

  3. New cosmetics options—blush, lipstick on males, etc.

1. 3d facial hair for males in varying lengths & styles.


2. More hairstyles & natural color choices. The current/new styles could be reversable to move parts from left to right etc.


3. A single universal numbered color palettefor all professions, withany restricted colors being X'd out but still present in the palette for easy reference between professions for the purpose of colormatching.


Also, Idon't know if this would be an ID issue or a core issue, but I would like to see more realistic looking hands & feet...tired of looking like a relative of "The Penguin". Even if they don't add in individual fingers/toes, they could slightly adjust the models shape & texture shading etc to give the illusion of these features.

1. Body tattoos for all applicable races (I don't really think it would so much work on Wookiees...)

2. The ability to further customize Twi'lek lekku - length, thickness, etc.

3. New hairstyles, frills, head adornments, etc. for all races.

4. The ability to change horns and hair independently on Zabraks.

5. Unnatural colors for humans and Zabraks. I am very bitter that we got left out of that fun.

Body Hair [Fur length] styling

1: new examples of all existing things we can do, such as more hair, more lekku patterns, more tatoo's

2: more extreames of facial/body alterations that can all be altered a bit above/bellow starting qualities (taller than origional max, shorter, heavier, more muscleetc)

3: few more statistics to shift, such as hips.

4: more temperory effects, but are visually permenant and fade like droid customisations or such, such as body paints for exotic colours, hair glitter and such.



- note they are not in any order just 4 wishes

The Live Team has promised to deliver on Imperial Hats. One idea that I heard at FanFest was that they were considering making the 'Head' slot a mutliple slot.. cutting it up in sections so that things like the Imperial Hat could be given.


When that is done, I'd like if they put in ways to color and style each section of the head uniquely. Maybe even Quartering it ?


I'd like to see the 'Eye' Slot divided up as well, so that 3D beards would be easier, as well and Gas Masks, or different styles of glasses wouldn't interfere with each other.


Maybe Earrings that only ID's could change?


And more wild lekku and wookiee hair stylings!


There's no harm in asking.. maybe we'll get them anyway, in the name of appeasing the terrible wroth of the Image Design Community! *puffs self up to 2x size* /flex
