Thread: Trans Ridges
Hi,
Just looking for the short command to change my ridges.
I've tried using
/imagedesignSetValue ridges 4;
and
/imagedesginSetValue ridges4;
Both do not work. any help on the parameter I need
Thanks
Zippie
Anyone know how to ?
This question is asked after the patch , so I am not seeking an exploit.
Zippie.
no worries i found out how to myself.
woo hoo for me.
just use a high number
Taltas,
Send me a pm and Ill give you the info.
To be honest, Out of all the professions forums that I have been active on for help and advise for mastery (15 so far), the image design forumhas to be one of the most unhelpful I have seen.
I'm guessing this is mainly due to the fact that an exploit surrounding the frills command line parameter keeps everyone mumm.
Anyhow... this is my opinion which I am entitled to, I just finished master ID without the use of any exploits in 4 days play time. It's a cool professions and it has a lot of potential , unfortunate that the mods here aren't.
Oh well 15 mastered on to number 16.
Zippie.

We are a small community. We don't know everything. Now, maybe some people didn't answer you out of discourtesy, but I, for one, didn't answer because I didn't know. I didn't skill up on ridges. I can't imagine that any of us did, actually, it's just not that popular. Would you have preferred a bunch of responses that said "I don't know?" We have posted most of the command lines that we do know in the "image designers in training" thread, which apparently, in youropinion,is no substitute for a response to a specific question.
You asked a question at 10:30 AM. At 11:38 AM on that same day, you stated thatyoufound out the answer yourself. You honestly call the community unhelpful because nobody who knew the answer happened to logon during that one hour window and answer your question? Or are we "unhelpful" because someone asked you to post an explanation, and none of us rushed in to do it for you (possibly, I might add, because we didn't know)? Less than 24 hours have elapsed since your original post, but apparently it's "unhelpful" to keep you waiting even that long (assuming that you still expected a response after you had indicated that you found the answer).
Keep in mind that board participation is voluntary. We are not "mods" who are paid to respond, we are people with jobs and kids, real peoplewho may or may not choose to spend our time reading and answering your question. Nobody is required to read or post on the boards (indeed many members of our community do not check the boards often, nor should they be required to), and certainly nobody, not even the correspondent, has the responsibility to check the boards every hour for new questions, or to drop everything to research this issue, so as to give you an answer in what you consider to be a "helpful" timeframe.
You're entitled to your opinion, and I'm entitled to mine.
And looks like you were just as helpful as the people you are bashing.
I am here looking for the same thing and still am looking.
Pot calling Kettle black.....
I see your point. I would have rather someone posted "I don't know"
Maybe it's my misinterpretation of the correspondants, I view them as experts on there profession, now granted it silly to think they know everything , but a simple "I'm not sure, let me look into it" would have sufficed.
The reason I draw attention to the so called "unhelpful observation" is due to a few other posts on the forum that seem to have been treated in the same silent or "cutting" manner. Not for me to name names , but as I said something struck me as different here that I did not find elsewhere.
Cause, I'm entitled to my opinion and you don't have to agree. Thats ok.
Now to answer you Dandain.... If you read my response you would see that I offer the information , just pm me.
Your welcome.
To set ridges use:
/imageDesignSetValue ridges <155-161>
Geeze people, don't be so stingy with information
If anyone has any specific information as to the numbers to use for a male trando, i'd appreciate it.
starting off with /image, I've tried
/imagedesignSetValue ridges 140, 145, 150, 155, 160,165, 170, 175
Only Set and Value are capitalized, and there's a space between ridges and the number.
Am I doing anything else wrong?
I appreciate any help.
I think the command "frills" still works, but you can only use frills within your species limits now. Therefore should not be exploitative.
So.... try /imagedesignSetValue frills 155... And if this leads to an exploit, don't use it, shame on you, yadda yadda.
