Hiya all =)

I'm a Master ID since a few days and so far only ID'd while on the run from A to B.

Now I'm really curious how most of you handle that..

Do you also ID on the run or do you have a nice shop set up for IDing?

I ask cause I set up kinda barber shop just to see if it's possible to do with the items in game (it's not open for public) and was now wondering if it's useful to keep it for public.

I ALWAYS keep my Master Image Designer title on, as it's a good way to attract business.

And I have a Salon that's open to the public, including a Vendor entitled "Email Wexela for Image Design Services." She's listed under Clothing on the Planetary Vendors list, so that pulls in a few customers, too.

Also, add some details to your house sign, something like - "THARE - Master Image Designer. Email Me To Book an Appointment" or similar.

Generally I end up either travelling to customers or working in cantinas (I'm a Master Entertainer, too) but it's nice to have a special place to work from, as I think people appreciate the effort that goes into making a "custom" shop.

As said it was only for testing what's possible, but if it's really useful (you're giving me hope ) then I will most probably rebuild it inside the "Temple of Sins" (shop on 2nd account) which is already well known.

So what about the rest of you?

i had a salon type thing toward the begining but im usualy far from my house so i can tell people well meet me on tatooine in a player city in 45mins it would just lose me too much buisness.

so i usualy do it in cantinas and the streetcorners or were ever else we currently are

heres a tip about good items to use that most dont

use stucture modules(the onesmade by archetechs and the square metal chairs

and place them one after another

it is a realy cool looking setup

thats how my shop used to look

now i just use my house if im near it

ps. any image designers need clothes? if any wanderhomian ids need some clothes i will give it to you free trying to empty my large house lol

My customers usually say they like my beauty salon's set up

So I've found it fun and useful. I'll roleplay a bit if the person seems open to it. I have three reclining chairs in the middle, and the white master architect furniture all around including some couches for waiting friends to sit. I also have a silly display table with my tools of the trade on it includinga "work light", "camera", "photographic image", "recording device", etc

I'll ID on the run but if someone contacts me I have them come to my shop/salon. The downstairs area is for my tailor color display and vendors, and upstairs is the salon (medium Tat).

I have a salon set up at the Willows Bed and Breakfast resort on Dant (kettemoor) but I also do ID while traveling. On Wanderhome I just do ID when ever where ever as I don't have any place special set up. A friend made me items especially for my salon so I have rollers (meat rolls origionally) shampoo (starshine surprise bottle) jars of brushes, combs and scissors (blue jars dunno what they really are) all set out on display. As well as several chairs with floor lamps next to them. It's a neat set up that Ceridwen (proprietor) did for me.

I all of my work on the run usally when i'm nipping through coroent or theed from hunting on dant or dath. I usually reply to there tell to meet me indside the starports.
