I'm told (and have seen for myself) there is a great need for ID's to migrate stats on Test Center 2. If any of you have it in your hearts to help out over there (and hopefully also do some ID testing) it would be most appreciated by the ID-desperate TC2 population.

I've never played on either Test Center. How does this work? Do they duplicate a character from one of the live servers or would I have to start a brand new character? I would rather not start a brand new character... I already have characters on 7 of the "live" servers (on BOTH of my accounts) and would find it a bit much to have to make yet another character for testing purposes.

Let the Devs make ID characters to migrate the players stats. Let them see what it is like doing nothing but stat migrations for hours on end. There is no way in hell I will grind up to novice ID again on a server that is quite temporary just to dothe Devsa favor.
I mean, come on! Do they honestly expect us to grind between 13 and 26 hours every time they roll the server back? And all that just to qualify for the privledge of sitting in the tent for hours at a time waiting for the little colored bars to move so that all the 1337 Jedi can go swing their glow bats at more things? Puh-leaze.
Please note that I am excersizing a large amount of restraint with this post. If I typed what I was thinking, you would shortly see "Post edited by GarVa."

Yes, and they expect us to enjoy doing it and not complain about it either.

I'm sorry but i have to smile at the irony here. TC2 is now experiencing what is happening on the live servers, a lack of IDers to do stat migrations.
from what i have been reading IDers dont like doing them, and the players dont like the fact that stat migration was taken away from them. hhmmmm so many problems with one simple solution.
Give stat migration back to the general playerbase.
i'm not having a go at you kwee, but since i havent read one response from the dev's to the hundreds of posts in dozens of threads complaining about thischange i hope and pray that they take more note of what goes on TC2 and may just decide they made a bad choice and give stat migration back to the players (even in a slower than before form)

My TC2 avatars are all padawans so I can become an instant MID after choosing my force skills. I'll make the wookiee an ID. I'm willing to do it for the TC people because I like'em. Not so sure about some of the jedi conversions from live servers. I'll make sure to tell everyone that Kwee sent me

Thanks Jujutsu
I made my latest Topaz an MID too. For those of you who aren't up TC2, it's basically a copy of TC but only certain people's characters were copied. Test Center people who logged into their accounts during a certain two week period (it was a surprise from the devs rewarding people who help test), and Live Jedi who created chars on logged in on TC in the week following the two week period. They've now rerolled TC2 at least twice and each time we start from scratch we get to choose any skills we want as well as some Jedi skills. My latest Topaz is a Jedi Padawan who almost got her butt kicked by a little mob just outside of Theed last night
Her other skills include Master Entertainer, Dance IV, and MID. I figured I'd just do Jedi support from now on, I am really clueless about Jedi skills or combat but it's been fun to help where I can. Oh and wave my lightsaber threateningly at bunnies and take pictures of myself

I might help for awhile, but I made my TC2 character a tailor like Momoko instead a MID like Eimi. I wanted to test out the force sensitive crafting changes.

Honestly, as far as I'm concerned Runesabre can gen an MID and help out. I don't do migrations on live, and I don't do them on TC1—why would I do it on TC2?

Every character on TC2 gets to pick non-FS professions, including master ID, instantly at startup. I don't think that we should have to "take one for the team" and recreate master ID's on TC2 when the rest of the population is perfectly capable of instantly making one out of their three characters an ID.

Especially those of us who wern't playing on TC1 at the time of char copy. We would have to generate a brand new char on TC2 and grind. Only to have our efforts wiped on the next roll back. And all of that only to migrate stats. I don't know about you, but "I ain't doin' it."

That being the case, I don't see why they should get any outside help with this problem. The live servers are experiencing a shortage of IDs too.
