Thread: M.I.D. Suggestion
Now, that was with the general population. Imagine if it were jedi. I wouldn't want that job.
Additionally the Bountyhunters don't hunt someone from an image they got, but from their DNA-sequence... so changing the appearance of someone doesn't help at all here.

This has been brought up before, and I think the general consensus (from what we've learned from stat migration) is that players tend to be snarky to an ID when an ID performs an essential function. The players insist that they are entitled to the function because it is necessary. This leads to harassment, underpayment, and general obnoxiousness.

LMAO, ok... It seems the idea is off the table but explain how an Arti checking thier harvs, flying by a jedi 20m on Endor while he kills a gurreck affords Imps a DNA sample? Good answer though
Edit add on!
There is no white in the palette for eye color. Can we have Albino added?![]()

I know it's not a completely satisfying explanation, but that's how it was explained earlier by devs on the boards. I think the visibility generated hasn't anything todo with a dna sample yet... it's just the rumors that are around about someone wielding a lightsaber... but then againt here are those curious bothans. They are everywhere... and they feed their Information network with all kind of stuff, including dna-samples of suspected Jedi as it seems... yes, this is strange since the bothans should be on the side of the rebels and thus helping jedi to hide... but maybe not all bothan think that way.
About the color: no, there is to complete white for eyecolor... but if you want to play or ID an albino the color of the eyes should be red for humans, which is also not possible I fear.
nooooo plz no no more "non" id things plz,..... U ALL KNOW THAT IS IDISH OH YA... BODY TATOOS!!!!... why dont the deves do that?? aww ya to complicated for the computer to think up... come on amror is like 10X more complicated than skin with a tattoo, or at least it seems that way. ![]()
According to the DEVs, the problem with tattoos, is that it'd be nessecary to give the tattoo-ee a second skin, as in ananimation on top of an animation. Therefor it'd beef up server lag. This doesn't make much sense to me due to the fact that zabrakis already have this, and isn't this the same as every other ID job? Basicly I think the DEVs are simply too lazy to put that kind of work into a proffesion as rare and un-important as Imagine Designing.

Absolutely not, I have no desire to peform an 'essential' function for a Jedi. The harrasment and ugliness that would bring up on Master ID's would be way more than any benefit garnered either materially or otherwise.
That's not a problem for me.
Jedi asks, "can you ID my Viz"?
Oggat answers "no"

The problem then becomes that the same Jedi will not leave the tent and sent /tells, curse you out, follow you around etc. until you either /addignore him or logout. Then once you have him addressed, you'll be dealing with the ten more padawans behind him that will act the same way.
QFE!
I want absolutely nothing to do with addressing Jedi visibility.
As a jedi myself I even say a big no to this. There's no need for you to be on the terms now that group vis is dropped, just be careful with when/where you do your jedi stuff.
