I can't remember where, but I read something about the skill points needed for ID mastery would be reduced by 16. Now I can't find the article again. Was this just a wishful dream or is this actually happening? And if so, any idea when it comes in?

Since it's a bigger publish it might take a week of testing... maybe longer depending on the outcome of the testing. Hard to tell sometimes.

I'm hoping the removal is a straight 1 point from each of the boxes, except Novice and Master. It makes the most sense to me. Anyone heard any word on this? I'm swapping from Master Rifles/Master Doc to pick up some ID, and the point drop would be nice for me too!

This is how they are doing it. The cost of Novice and Master are still 6 & 1 points respectively. Tier 1 boxes are now 4 points (instead of 5) etc.
So costs are now thus:

This is correct. The skillpoint distribution is exactly how they implemented the change on TC right now.

yay 16 extra pionts for me to master arch and riflesman, Did they make it too easy to master this?? i think so.

I was so very excited when I read about the 16 more skill points to work with ... then I read that I'm going to have to master the 2H-Brawler tree to keep my TKM.
Easy come, easy go.

Although I would like those 16 extra points, I don't think it is really fair to the other players, unless this system is something that will be changed across the board for ALL professions.
It wouldn't be fair for us to master an elite profession when it would cost other players more points to master a single basic one.

The skill point reduction was done so that anyone who is a pure entertainer, like myself, can master Entertainer, Image Designer, Musician & Dancer. Something that lots of us have wanted to be able to do for a very long time. I'm rather happy that this change has been done

I like the idea of having 16 points back to master merchant! I do think, though, if the goal was to be able to master all 3 entertainer professions, that the points could have been taken out of the entertainer professions equally - 5 from dancer, 5 from musician, 6 from ID, so that no one profession would feel devalued.
