Thread: *Offers punch and pi3 to the lurkers*
I'll start...
*Clears throat*
Hi, I'm n'Jessi.
I've been playing an ID since launch and absolutely love it. I'm also a tailor for TEAM HAWTPANTS. If I have to roleplay, I tend to roleplay quite wacky characters, usually involving biting people. I try not to bite too many people IRL. In general, my character is a yellow twi'lek and while I've tried other skin colors, I keep coming back to yellow. However, I do change my markings/lipstick almost daily. I've played zabraks and humans too, but I'm not adventurous enough to mess with the other races. To get business, I simply put my tag up. My motto is that I "/addignore smacktards" and so far I've been able to avoid in-game harassment.
I'm a member of a medium-sized guild and a large player town on Tatooine. I don't charge guild members for services, but they pay me usually. A lot of times, I end up getting ID clients from our city's chat channel.
In real life, I am terrible at putting on makeup, and tend to injure myself trying. Ditto for hair - when I was 13, I got a nasty burn on my ear from a curling iron. Yes, I'm also a bad perm victim from my junior high years.
Okay, who is next? (Please don't put any identifying personal information as there are stalkers out there who might give you a bad perm.)
Hi am am Ani'cul, aka Luc'ina, aka MAD Ani, aka 'she who needs a muzzle'
All though my main is a Master Tailor and Master Merchant from start, I do have a secondary {Luc'ina} who is Master ID.
See as much as I loved tailoring on Ani, I wanted to do the 'whole look' thing
I took up ID, and began working thru it.
I was just a few blocks to be trained {had skill just had to be trained} when I said screw it, ID is not waht I really want to do.
I dropped it all, surrendered even the Nov Ent block.
This was in late '03, real late, so late infact two weeks later players were granted holocubes for X-mas.
Not sure who remembers the rush, but cube mania and grinding really took flight the following months.
Since I was not sure what to do with Ani, I went ahead and read one.
I truely did LOL, I was crying from laughing...
You must Master Image Design
It was thenI swore off Jed-i, or ever becoming one.
I also said Ani would never be an ID, ever.
But
I did kill off a FS toon {yup completely deleted him} to make Luc'ina, my Master Image Designer
I mean after all I only said Ani would never be one..
Now during respec, Ani's template never budged
Luc'ina's though,
I sunk ID into BE,
then redid ID,
but I am currently performing her way thru Entertainer lines to replace BE.
She will be a Grand Master.
I refuse to use that token respec box....
EDIT: cause everyone else made RL comments here's mine ![]()
I rarely wear any makeup, if I do it is mascara, gloss, and a cream colored shadow
My eyelids and lips are a , well, very odd tint of pink, it almost looks unreal against my skin, so colors do not quite show very good.
Fashion sense! no way, bare footin' tiedyed teebaggies jeans flannel shirtwearing hippie punk I am..it is called c o m f o r t a b l e.

Hi, I'm Oolong! I just love punch and pie!
I started out as a musician/riflewoman and eventually dropped rifles for dancing. One day i was bored and started grinding ID just to complete Master Entertainer and omg it was so much fun I kicked myself for not trying it before. I was sad that I couldn't master it (at the time i was capped at 4043) so I got a new account just for the purposes of mastering ID.
When publish 14.1 came along, Oolong could at last become a master ID too and I believe she was Radiant's first quad-master Entertainer (30 minutes after server up on patch day). Oolong and Oolyssa (now master ID \ Master Tailor) are members of the Coalition of Entertainers (CoE) and co owners of Oolicious, Inc, dedicated to the beautification of body and soul through ID, Clothing, and Music and Dance. Any time I roll up a new character somewhere, the template is invariably Master ID\ <whatever else she feels like being>. I love ID, and cant believe I only discovered it as an afterthought.
I have two characters who are IDs, Mheyin Tuk and Ini'dyl Kihoh. I started playing SWG in Februarybecause my best friend IRL (former ID Lhar Marix) talked about it constantly, and he finally lured me in by telling me that I could be a dancer. Mhey was my first character. She's a zabrak dancer. While still a novice entertainer, I started IDing myself, because I loved changing her look. I couldn't go a day without changing her hair/horns.In real life, I'm really good at makeup and styling/cuttinghair (have even considered cosmetology school), and have a small dresser full of makeup. Three drawers worth. I'm not kidding.
I wear my MID tagalmost constantlyandalways havea very steady flow of customers. I've been told on multiple occasions that I'm one of the best IDs on the server, which is something that I'm very proud of.
I created Ini (a twi'lek tailor) because I could no longer resist the desire to make my own clothing, but I didn't have any skill points left on Mheyin. And because I cannot resist ID temptation either, Ini's skin color changes to match every article of clothing she wears, but she doesn't typically do ID work for anyone but herself or the occasional guild member. Both of my characters are a member of the guild EGC, which is an all-female guild on Sunrunner. We have a city, called Emperia, on Naboo. You will very rarely see either Mheyin or Ini'dyl off-planet (or indeed even outside of Theed or Emperia).
When I'm not playing Galaxies, I'm either singing or performing with my improv comedytroupe. Or working in customer service. But I don't like to talk about that....

IRL I'm semi-okay with make-up but I'm much more of a grown up tomboy who'd sooner be out chasing storms or riding a bike than playing with hair or an eyelash curler.
