The devs are flying the correspondents to Austin to meet with them in late August, unfortunately smack on the week of my due date (I'm currently pregnant with my third). We have been given the option of askingan ex correspondent to fill in as a proxy for us if we cannot make it. Vandessa and I have been chatting about the possibility of her going as my replacement and I just heard confirmation this morning. She has a Master IDand is aware ofmany of our current issues and wishes. I'll be going over the finer nuances of things with her before she goes (ie. sending the poor thing more documents than she could dream anyone could have written about ID), and she will be communicating with the ID community as well.
We've bagged ourselves a good one
Vandessa as many of you know has been a correspondent since the beginning of the program, first as the Tailor correspondent, then as the Test Center correspondent which she very recently resigned from. I have complete confidence in her ability and willingnessto represent us in an excellent fashion and hope you will lend her any support she requires

Hi guys! *wave*
Its the least I could do to swing the proverbial sledgehammer on behalf of this fine lady here.
Being a tailor correspondent, a master merchant, and a style nut, sort of gave me a keen kinship to image designers.Living on Test Center, when I needed a makeover, an ID was hard to find usualy. So I made my own on my husband's account and we kept it ever since (even he likes being an ID!)
Anyhow I hope you guys don't mind me pretending to be Kwee for a few days abroad. I will promise to do her and you guys as much justice as possible!

I had actualy already read this threadwhen it first came up
Nice idea, it would be interesting to see if something like this could be implemented. It may take a lot of resources though since what you are describing would require a base architectural change instead of work with the one already built.
But I will bring that up to Ood while I'm there. Not sure how much will be acomplished since the main focus of this sumit is Combat. Which would mean a focus on IDs in combat situations or asisting in the combat mechanic (Eg: stat migration) and possibly adding new variations to combat (Eg: disguise/agro modifiers).
But feel free to use this thread to voice your ideas you want me to haul about.
I know one thing I plan to do is try and get a clearer picture for all of us about what can and can't be done. As well as what resources we really do have to work with.

Just to reiterate what Vandessa said of the summit. It has been confirmed to us that the purpose of the summit is to discuss the combat balance only. I've unearthed our latest stat migration discussion, and will be starting new ones on past combat-y things that have had high interest among ID'ers in the past

I'm going to take next week to roll another new ID toon as well so I can experience the 'grind' first hand as well. (Kwee's sugestion) Any bets on how many boxes I get before I start clawing my eyes out?

Yeah, you probably won't get too far then. But in a way it will be a more accurate example of how Image Designer really works because not everyone does have someone to help them and they rely completly on grinding on themself or the random customer who can use lower level ID work.
