I know others have been experiencing this as well but I have not seen anything about it on the forums.
Nothing sucks worse than getting almost all the way through a stat mig. and having the window cancel itself! This is not only annoying and frustrating but it makes for bad business and unhappy customers!

Knock on wood, this has never happened to me.
I have, however, gone LD in the middle of a session. Then I usually log back in as quickly as possible and offer the person the service for free. The vast majority of the time the people refuse getting it for free and pay me anyway.

I'm glad you haven't had it happen.
However, I know of so far 4 other ID's who have on Bloodfin.

I've had the ID window close on me, but it seems to me that it is always because of something the customer did... I've never had it happen while I was practicing on my alt.

It seems to happen when customers are poking around with their interface (usually trying to click on their chat box) and accidentally click on cancel

Haven't had it here either.
Only time I've had the Stat Mig window closed on me without it being 'intentional' [or an accidental cancel] has been when I entered combat.

From my own experiences I can tell it is like Kwee said:
The customers is trying to say something in one of his/her chat-tabs, but has the ID-interface still active so the [Return] keystroke cancles the session.
May the Force be with you all

Yeah, I don't know of any such bug, but the customers can cancel it out by hitting escape, which happens to me a lot.

Yes, this another issue that is quite annoying. Having to relog to continue to ID other customers because the one you are working on went LD.
Is there something the Dev's can do to fix this Kwee?

Kwee,
I did ID on someone who is a Master ID, who knows what you can and can't do while you are ID"ing someone. This happening while we had 1 min. left and neither of us was chatting at the time. This is becoming very annoying.

Even a Master ID can accidently hit [Escape] or whatever to accidently cancle an ID-session. But maybe there is really some kind of bug. But without more references it will be impossible to be found I fear.

I spoke to the Master ID last night. I asked him exactly what he was doing when the window canceled. He said he was sitting there watching the timer as it was close to being done. I then asked if he had clicked any buttons, escape, enter, etc... he claims he was not touching his keyboard or mouse at all when it happened.
