I found that the easiest way for me was to buy a 2nd account. It's hard to find people willing to let you practice on them for hours a time. I trained 4 skill boxes yesterday simply because I had a character that I could skill up on as much as I wanted to.

Another option, hang out in the cantina and work on members of the band. If you also have medic skills you can heal their action pool while you're at it and everyone benefits from you being in the group.

Worked for me. Some of them even donated money for me to train my skills because they (especially the dancers) use me to get new styles to match their outfits constantly.

Seems like most misunderstood the question, but to the person posting, there is no way to save your favorite styles for quick change.. I change my style for each different outfit I wear, and after a few times, you just get quick at changing it.

One thing to remember, you can image design yourself while you are running, and maybe something good would be to count the 'clicks' you have to do, so you won't even have to look at yourself. =)

I have found that alot more people were willing to let me practice on them when informed that I wouldn't actually make any changes to their appearance during practice. With the exception of hairstyles, just choosing the defaults will leave their character's settings intact. And I still get the same XP. It also goes much quicker when I can just choose the 'ok' button without fooling with the settings. I have found that I can move the first and third dialogue boxes to coincide with the second one so that all three buttons line up and I can click through them rapid fire. This works better at lower levels, since going fasterthese daysjust makes merun out of mind points faster. Working in the cantina while watching an entertainer helps alot though.

I do have a macro for /image... but as far as I know there is no way to macro the different dialogue boxes/choices. If you can use a second account as a practice subject, I have heard that there is a way to set up a /accept macro so that you only have to worry about the design end. So far I have not found how to do this, so if anyone knows please share.

I found the *best* XP to Mind ration was changing Fur Color on a Bothan. It cost 48 mind for 50 XP.

I found that doing hair color other, and eye shadow on and off give me the best xp per drain. I line up all the confirm buttons and just spam it. For those 2 I get 50xp for 50 mind drain. Others are 75 xp for 100 drain, and worse.

I found another ID in a cantina and we practiced on each other for a while. I usually average 1k-1.3k a sitting(thats if the others confirm fast). A sitting is till I drain my mind. At one point we had a circle going, A would target B, B targetC, C target A. Was a blast.

Just to be on the safe side i take a SS before I practice on anyone to make sure nothing gets changed and if so easy to fix.

Hair color is best for male targets, fairly easy to fix again. For female I find eye shadow on or off works great easy to all line up and get done fast.

Although it sounds a bit ghoulish, I have found the hospital is a great place to practice. After getting injured in battle most beings want to cover up their wounds so they can forget the incident and head back out with confidence! I have found many subject by simply hanging around the med tent.

I'm going to plead ignorance as a novice entertainer . . . what does SS mean?

Using the right boosters and with a dedicated person to train on you can make master image designer in a day. I did it in 4 days, but this was because I had to come up with 135,000 credits to buy the skills, by doing lots and lots of missions.
