Thread: Body tattoos

Hey, this is a question coming from a non-ID for any ID to answer. I am a Zab make and was wondering if it is possible to get a tattoo(s) on any part of the body besides the face. If so, what lever ID does one have to be and if not, do you know if the devs are planning to implement them anytime in the future. Thanks

As of now, the only people who can get tattoos are Zabraks and the only place they can get them is on their face.
As for tattoos in the future, it is a possibility. It has been asked for. However, it would probably be quite a while before it is ever implemented... if ever.

I know this has been brought up on multiple occasions throughout SWG history, but...I'd like to be able to get more tats on my Zabrak.
Not much of a discussion, just felt like throwing that out there.
... Their skin is a tad dark, and each individual Zabrak will, over time, cover himself with elaborate tattoos, using various patterns and colors to reflect their own personality. This is an everlasting process, and a Zabrak will continue to add onto them until death. ...

I would love to see body tattoos, i think that would be cool, these tatoos would be for all speices, wokies and other furry ones would get fur paint.

Totally! I have a bald human who wears a headwrap and, according to his bio, lived with zab's who teased him for being hornless, and a v.small horned zab who wants to be human and refuses to have tattoes.
If one of them could go to a MID and have a session with the angle grinder to remove his horns and the other could get tats...

Agreed. One of my toons in the game is based on a character in a comic book I'm creating, and he's supposed to have a dragon tattoo that spans his entire back. I wish he could have something similar in the game.

After the last few films, they can't argue that it's not something popular in SW cultures - several of their dancing girls had tattoos, one of which has featured imagess on StarWars.com - I'm a big fan of tats RL, and would love to see them and perhaps piercings brought into SWG.

Many people talk about doing body tattoos, and point out that if Zabrak tattoos aren't a seperate layer, why do body tattoos have to be? And, if they are, why can't they just add body tattoos to that layer? After all, if you look at Ithorian markings (http://swgid.atomicspacekitty.com/markings_ithorian_01.php), many of them also change the look of the body. Why then can't we have body tattoos? Is there something I'm missing, or just don't understand?

i with ya man and as a id i really want bodt tats for all types not just zabs.... and i see armor has many layers.... why not let us have body tatss!!! some really computer savy person come tell us
