To be quite honest, I don't see the point in it. Our options are as follows:
1. Ask a question we already know the answer to, for predictable result.
2. Ask a question concerning a feature we want, and be told one of the following:
a. No
b. Maybe later
c. We don't know.
3. Ask a question concerning one of our few bugs, and be told the following:
a. That is functioning as intended.
b. Maybe later
c. We don't know.
4. Ask a question regarding some problem with our profession's setup and be told one of the following:
a We have no plans to change that
b. Maybe later
c. We are monitoring that situation.
How about we just ask TH to voulinteer some information that may be of some use to us?

Bri you have described the situation with clarity, brevity, and precision. 5 stars.

You missed:
2. d. That's something we will look into after the JtL / CB / Smuggler Revamp.
3. d. We have and will fix a small part ofthat issue already. It will be on Test Center soon.
4. d. That's something we will look intoroughly a few daysbefore swine sprout wings, and the center of the earth becomes a block of ice.
/sigh... I'm becoming bitter.
You do have a point, Just_Bri. Maybe our next question should be: "ThunderHeart, tell us something about yourImage Design experience? What was the most fun part about the current system, to you?"

I think the next question should be;
Image Designer
What options are the Development Team exploring to fix the current 62-122-245 hour XP gating of Image Design? Is it possible to have an ETA on this?

As I explained in the 19 Questions answer post...TH is getting us more detail this week. He was on vacation last week.

Maybe if we keep asking it they will get a clue.

It is Bri, not Bre. Thank you.
And that gets lumped in with "Maybe later" or "We have no plans to change that." Or even "Asking a question we already know the answer to."
How about asking:
"How much time has RuneSaber spent playing an Image Designer on a live server both before and after thechibi publish? IF the answer is none, why is he not heeding our advice concerning our profession? IF he answers "Because I am the Lead Designer." that will be viewed as insufficient answer. Also, if he answers "But I did take Kwee's feedback into consideration." that will be viewed as a lie."

Okay, I've got a suggestion…
What valuable function do Jedi serve within the game that they warrant two full publishes as well as 5 days of downtime of the primary test server? Like Image Designers, Jedi are a small percentage of the population (by design,) and yet they are receiving arguably the most development time of any profession, barring perhaps Driod Engineers. We would like to understand why Jedi are receiving new art content, multiple publishes, and in-depth developer attention when Image Designers still have yet to have their most pressing post-mini-publish issues addressed in a meaningful manner.

[snip] it's much easier to convince the powers that be to spend resources on a profession that is considered an integral part of SWG and not simply an interesting diversion to the rest of the game. That is why it is important that your profession have a valuable function within SWG that can't simply be ignored by the rest of the playerbase. [snip]

This is to S-G:
We already know the answer to that one. It is because Jedi as they are now are breaking the entire game. I do not begrudge the Jedi the attention they are getting, because it means an end to the holo-grind. I do however expect the Devs to make good on the pre-release promises of a viable social play style.

Maybe the funniest I have seen you all thus far in my short time here.
I think the devs might have been on vacation every time Kwee gave them some input.
Perhaps my question would be this: A CSR told me the best way to effect change was to use this forum, that he could do nothing. It seems RS does not follow these formus and it is up to Kwee to make what we say a bit more polite (often needed) and send it to him in another media. Question being this, Why are we using a forum designed for us to express our views to a development team that disregards what we say, and does not respond to our concerns?
