Thread: Am I killing my customers?

I think I have a problem, I'm currently a Master ID on Chilastra and I seem to keep causing my customers game clients to crash when I ID then, most notably doing hair styles.
I'm not real sure whats wrong but its very frustrating to me, does anyone know anything about this or any other Chilastra IDs want to test this out and find out whats going wrong?

I'm a ID on Chil also. Only, I had the opposite problem....I crashed. And it was during a hairstyle customization. It also bugged the client with the outstanding offer bug.

This happens to me a lot and only with hairstyles (and usually when that's the first thing I offer them). Most people come back and are like "Whoa! I crashed really bad!" and I tell them it sometimes happens when I try to change their hair. Recently somone said "That must've been one hell of a haircut!" 
I've bugged it many times before but.. haven't heard anything back.

I would advise posting on the tech board, see what they have to say, maybe there's a video card driver you should get or something?

Happened to me for the first time yesterday—I was playing my non-ID toon and decided it was time for a new hairstyle. As luck would have it I ran into Rashida (great job, BTW 
) and the first style she offered crashed me…oops. Took two tries to get back in, but I did and it seemed to be a one-time fluke.

I've seen this happen, myself. Several times. I had one poor guy (a guildie of mine) crash no less than four times when he was being terribly indecisive about what hairstyle he wanted.

Yes, it seems to be human and zabrak hair styles that i've noticed it on too.

I used to have this happen to me if i used my scroll wheel *while* there was a pending image design. I started out in first person but I wanted to be able to see the hair styles they were trying on me and 3 out of 3 times I did this, I crashed to desktop.

LOL, maybe this is their wayof fixing the frills exploit. Just joking, but it does sound like a newly introduced bug.

Yah. I've had this problem for a while now. The first style I offer someone crashes them EVERY TIME. without fail. Of the past 14 ID's I've done to hair, all of them crash on the first offer. Once they re-load, it's fine.
I've only seen it on humans and Zabrak though. But it works on both male and female.

Add Bothans to the list. The toon I had ID'd and CTD'd with is a Female Bothan.

Syzygy I had no idea that was you! I am glad you like your style Well I guess you can chalk me up on the client crash list, although I didn't realize that was why she crashed at the time.
