I was just strolling(not trolling) the various profession forums, and while browsing the jedi forums i came across a thread about the professions they had to master and whatnot (im sure youve seen similar threads). Initially i had checked it out to sorta lean me towards a new combat profession since pistoleer is...well... not the best in the west mind you (though should a pistoleer be the best in the "west" ...oh nm). ANYwho well while checking out this particular thread it was stated mutiple time that ID could be done in around 1hr 1/2s time; to say the least, this intrigued me. I would like to know from any veterans who might be reading if this is indeed possible. No, i am not a hologrinder; never have never will. infact i am a master chef/pistoleer/musician and am content with this template. though recently, my guild has expressed a great need for a doctor and i took up the challenge since our guild has another, some would say more responsible , chef. UGH, i ramble way too much. Well if mastering Image Designer is not i huge hassle, i would like to have it while im mastering doc to do something interesting and dare i say... match my hair with my shoes.

Thank you for your time, and sorry if this post offends you in any way/shape/form

PS i am not seeking macros, im not THAT pathetic

I mastered in 2 days but that was going from 0 skills and 0 ap points. I ground out ID, then a friend did it while I taught him. Then some one else taught me master. Although I think ID is kinda like the game "Othello" "It takes a minute to learn, a life time to master". I may have a MID tag floating above my head but every day I learn something new and interesting (and at times just plain odd) about my profession and the people who come to MID's. It's a lot of fun and I say welcome to our ranks!

Pretty much. But I recommend doing it before, that way they're in a good mood when you ask if you can design them…and if they aren't you've done something terribly wrong.

ROFL and so it degenerates, like so many threads before it, into mindless innuendo... nicely done, my Padawan.

No. She said Mindless. Careful, young one... your master ever so slightly treads the dark side of the Post.

So far I've spent:
about 3 hours IDing myself to get to novice ID.
2 hours IDing a friend and I'm now at 4101
I'm going to get 4201 then you can grind cheeks or something which give better EXP....

So yea, no 1 1/2 hours for me, but I'm still happy.

you can do master in one hour. The things u need for that is:

- dancer-buff

- musician buff

- brandy

- one very committed friend, who can click very fast

- image design trainer or master image designer

- enough money to train

- 2 macros: one haircolor and one jaw. both set on a non-change (so your friend doesnt hate u afterwards)

Train up with haircolor till you get jaw (box I of face). After that use the jaw-macro. With the brandy and the buffs your mind wont reduce and you can contiune to click. Its the way i trained up image designer a second time and it worked like a charm.

it doesnt have the charm of any interaction. I must say that training up the wat I did the first time in social sense was much and much nicer. I met people i see occasionally now and then. You might consider that too beside the amount of time you need till master ID.

Good luck en enjoy the profession.
