I was wondering if someone could help me with a problem i've been having. maybe im a stupid noob for asking but oh well. about two hours ago, while hunting in a solo group, i went from getting 5k xp per kill of huurton stalker to only 3k xp per kill. i went to go kill some other things such as rancors and quenkers and still only got 3k xp. whats going on? I am TKM and have been fora while and usually always get 5k per kill. Please someone help me!

Did you train in a skill? Did the solo group get bigger?
The xp earned is based on the con of the mob relative to your (or your groups) power. If the group got tougher (someone new joined, someone trained, etc), the mob gets easier relative to the group, and the xp reward becomes smaller.
Another thing: have you switched weapons? I heard something about commando xp being capped at 3k, while other profs are capped at 5k (came across it in some discussion about FS conversion).

Im not really sure what had happened, but after I left the group I was in, converted my xp at the village and logged fora while, I rejoined another group it my xp was back up to 5k per kill, unarmed. Really weird, but whatever. I think commando xp is capped, which really sucks when you're trying to master it. Took almost twice as long as anything else. Thnx for the help.
