Thread: Thanks To The SWG Team
I am writing this post for a few reasons the main on is I have seen quite a few posts telling the SWG team that they arent doing anything, etc..
Which isnt true, they have been putting in massive hours getting all the problems out of the way and the servers back to being stable.
I would just like to say Thank You to the Entire Star Wars Galaxies Team, you have done an outstanding job. From creating the game to supporting us with the problems we have had. Thanks
Everyone lets let these ppl know they are doing a great job.
PS This game rocks graphics, gameplay everything.
I can't remember the last time I was this addicted to a game. When you're playing up to 20 hours straight with maybe 1 food and bathroom break it's a good sign that:
1. The game is extremely well made and grabs a player's attention for long spans of time
2.The game isa whole lot more interesting than whatever chores needed to be done that day, or
3. The above mentioned category of players need extensive psychological help and maybe a little sunlight
-Pick whichever suits you-
Great game fellas, look forward to spending a whole lot more time with it.
I couldn't agree more! This game is awesome! Sure there are bugs, but this was actually one of the best MMO launches I've ever seen in terms of stability, lag issues, and bugs. The dev's are working extra overtime just to sit at a computer and make sure we are having fun...thanks guys!!
Another note to add - Many people think this game is awesome right now, and it just launched!!! Can you imagine in a couple months when patches and things are let out? This game is going to be simply amazing.
I sent an email to SOE today saying the same thing. I had to pull myself off after a few hours when i was dumped to desktopand they should keep this bug, as annoying as it may seem we all need to be slapped back to reality every few hours.
great game worth the money and time thanks SOE and Beta testers for taking the bullet for guys like me

Reason why there are so many negative posts is that the ones that are loving the game are in playing it. I'm glad there are some of us that take the time to post our thanks to the dev team.
PS I would be playing right now if that dang thing called Work didn't get in my way all the time *sigh*
I would also like to take the time to thank the dev team of SWG. This is my very first MMORPG and I am very pleased with it. I too as well as the rest of you have been putting in long hours on playing this game.
There are a few things that get in the way, "Work" being one of them. But, it is important to take breaks when needed and give your eyes and mind a rest.
I like the game very much and look forward to seeing what else I can get into.
Thanks for making the Star Wars Universe come alive.

Add my voice to the chorus of kudos for the devs. These guys have been working 16 hour days every day for the past three or four weeks. They surely must be tired, but their posts are invariably polite and lucid. Sure, the game needs work, as any MMORPG does at launch, but it's already great fun. Even if you dislike the design of the game, or are frustrated that you can't get into your favorite server, I hope you'll agree that the devs deserve a word of congratulations and thanks for all their hard work.
I'm supprised at the amount of content and lack of very serious bugs. Sure, there are some annoying ( and hilarious )bugs that need to be fixed, but you can't expect 100% quality with a game this size. They pulled it off very well.
There's nothing like the coolness factor of a firefight in the middle of the night.
To rip off a segment of a certain show on a certain channel:
My girlfriend left me, I lost my job, and I'm about to be evicted from my apartment, BUT I DON'T CARE, BECAUSE,
I'M...
IN...
STAR WARS!!!!
(or something like that.)
I could not agree more!!!! I played UO for 4 years and only quit because of going back to college. I had been waiting for SWG for a long time. I watched the original movies and even the re-release and 1 and 2 all in the same theatre from when I was 6!
THIS GAME RULES! sorry to shout but this game is everything I could want in a MMORPG.
1. Starwars (nuf said)
2. Starwars, ok I had to say it again.
3. Great visuals and familiar character make the game fun.
You guys on the team keep up the good work
With Many Many thanks,
Nu'Veck of Bria
Too many negative posts about SWG - Nice to see a positive one. I agree 100 percent. Having been through EQ expansions, I knew better then to try to log on the first day of release. The level of complexity in an MMOG is simply staggering. Thanks SWG team for delivering.
