Hi all
Iconfigured my skill tree to be able to solo the corvette i have:
Matser Medic
DOC -3,4,4
SCOUT -4,0,0,0
BH -0,0,0,4 - soo ihave LLC electric
Master Marksmen

have you tried it? low defenses (not that it matters a whole lot since stuff will hit you anyway) on that template. an elite melee profession + doc would probably fair better

Just do the imp corvette. As long as you hear lots of shooting when you get on board, you have a good chance of being able to solo it in 5-10 minutes without getting shot at that much. When you hear shooting, the SBDs and Rebs are shooting at each other and not at you. Just toss on some comp armor (or hunting if you are a wookie) and it shouldn't be that big a deal. I have a wookie Doc/TKM and a human TKM/MC and they both can run through it and do it fairly fast... just make sure you have a map handy and have read through a walk thru before doing it. Me and a few of my friends do it in small groups of 3 (each of us doing a different piece of it to make it go by quick) and also solo, done it about 60 times now and have it memorized. We're trying to pile up enough parts to make everyone in our guild AV-21s. We're just doing this for the fun of it (although the fun wore off after about the 20th time), and not profit. Sure wish there were more instanced adventures like this in the game (i.e. no ks'n and you get it all to yourself).

I've been soloing the vette daily with the template in my sig. For a long time my sole income was selling AV21 powerplants. With the flamer, LLC, feign death, and 85-90% energy resist composite, I can handle anything in there.

I don't think the vette is soloable because of it's layout, but because of a game dynamic. The fact is soloing the vette can be done easily by a novice medic, given that you know the layout, have composite armor with good all around resists, a good buff, buff food, and a few stim B's handy. Anyone who's ever done a creature or NPC mob with more than fivespawnsat once knows that, regardless of the amount, only five of them will attack you at any given time. So if you immediately grab the five weakest aggros you can find on the vette (all can be found on the first floor, which you don't spend much time on to begin with) and hold those aggros for the rest of the run, you can walk right up to the SBD's on the upper and lower levels and slap them across the face and they'll just look at you googly eyed. I have a screenshot of me doing exactly this on the nuetral destroy corvette, but imagedump seems to be down right now so I'll have to post a link later.

when they say SOLO, many of you confuse that with killing everything onboard.
i solo the imp destry mission in 7 min, tops.
i run a macro that peaces every 5 secs.
i never fire my gun, and it can be done with novice medic and 235 skill points unused.

I doubt anyone has killed everything on board, it isn't necessary... especially if you don't want to get creamed and lose your buffs. Some of the mobs can take a few minutes to take down, even with a couple of peeps hitting them. I would be shocked if anyone can clear out EVERY mob on board in the 60 minutes alloted. Not to mention all of theSBDs and such. Like the previous posts have said, you can go in and do a loot run without going for the badge injust a couple of minutes. If you want the badges and another schema that doesn't take much longer to do. The corvette is more the art of how quickly you can hit all of the key places, loot and complete it... it's not about killing all the mobs... that usually just leads to a lot of peeps dying when they get overwhelmed when killing in the wrong places. Sometimes if I'm up there with some friends we'll hang out after looting it and badging it (if we have some peeps with us who need the badge) and just kill the easier mobs for xp, faction points,and uber loot (like a CDEF carbine... whoa!). However, most of the time it's just a loot and run mission, in and out in 10 minutes or less.
