Thread: Emperor's Retreat: Stuck on Slicer Escort/Capture Mission

Everything is fine until he aggroes me... then I cant talk to him...
I tried some of the advice i've heard, that is to get his attention on someone else and then go up and talk. (I had a tanker droid and let me aggro that; then I run in and try to talk) but still no go; he just wont talk to me...
I asked customer service but that was completely unhelpful.
So how should I proceed? And if getting good thug faction is the answer then who do I kill or how do i get good thug faction? (killin philosophers that spawns once a full moon giving 20 points a pop is crap considering that an accidental killing of a thug is minus 70 points...)

i did it with both characters who have -5000 thug faction by riding up to about 45m and targetting the guy and using '/conv'

well didnt work for me... i crawled up to 40 and he aggroed me... but suddenly i killed him and i was like !*@#)@*)!(# so i just rapidly spammed /conv for a while and suddenly "mission complete"... weird... thanks for hte help tho.

If anyone else is having the problem, here's one way.
If he aggros you before you can /conv, just make sure you don't have a ranged weapon equipped, and run away from him. Don't get on a speeder, just run off. He'll follow you, but eventually give up and you'll lose aggro. Now run up behind him, spamming /conv. should work.

or just do it the easy way... kill him, keep him targeted, and /conv his corpse...

this is how i complete my missions. kill them first, then talk to them
