Is there a way to lock the toolbar slots in the UI? Its really annoying when you mis-click in combat and drag an icon off the toolbar or onto another slot. I'dlove a checkbox option to lock the slots so they can't be changed (obviously this needs to be an on/off option so you can change the toolbar layout when required).

Lol this has been such a huge annoyance for me, thought it was only me though since no one else seems to ever mention it.

Clicking toolbar slots is a very fiddly method of control, seeing as you have to change mouse mode to do it.
Try creating a macro for each of the moves you use, for instance:
Pistoleer-StoppingShot
/stoppingShot
Then go into Options > Interface > Keymap and click on the custom tab.
You can now bind this macro to a key on your keyboard.
While you are there you may want to bind Enter to Start Chat and enable Modal Chat from the check boxes.
This means you will have to press enter to type, but you can create and bind macros to your keyboard and create a custom interface to your liking.
This means no more clicking toolbar slots, but if you dont like that method, you can just use the F keys to instead of clicking with the mouse, to use the second row in your toolbar hold Shift and press the F key.

Why not just press the F-keys and the SHIFT-F-key combos rather than clicking on the toolbars?

Oops.
I read your post up to the point where you were suggesting remapping stuff to other keys and I didn't go all the way to the end where you suggested just using the F-keys.
Or...
I could say I read your whole post but wanted to repost the simplest idea in a short format that might catch his eye, but that would be dishonest, so I'll stick with the first one. ![]()
