Thread: Why Is my macro editing itself?

Hello,
So, I am grinding tailor on my alt, and when I stop playing on him and then at a later tiem to relog, I try to use my macro to help me grind faster, and it messes up. I check out the macro and it turns out that about the last 12 lines have just disappeared. This has happened several times. Any help?

Theres a max amount of lines 1 macro can have. up to that limit they will be destroyed after you log out. Try useing either 2 macros or shortening it.

you could try what I do, copy the macro into your /notepad - then when you go to use the macro again, just make sure you copy it out of notepad and into your macro again. I have a weaponsmith macro i use that is almost 100 lines long. It gets destroyed everytime I log out, but I still have it my notepad file.
You will have to map ctrl-alt-c and ctrl-alt-v to be able to copy and paste in game, but i'm sure you can find the posts in here on how to do that also.
