Ugh, I've looked clear back to September of 2004, and I cannot find anything on running 2 accounts at once..... anyone have a quick response? I know it has something to do with adding a note to the core or something like that....

Go to
C:\Program Files\StarWarsGalaxies
Find user.cfg file
Right click, and in the submenu click edit.
allowMultipleInstances=true
Close user.cfg and make sure you safe.
right now its set to false which dosent allow multiple instances.

Open notepad and paste the following:
[SwgClient]
allowMultipleInstances=true
Then, save as "user.cfg" in your SWG program folder. Make sure when saving that you select "all files" as the file type before you click okay. If you dont, you'll end up with "user.txt" instead of "user.cfg".
TADA!

go into the starwars file and open the options CFG file with notepad

[ClientAudio]
soundProvider="Miles Fast 2D Positional Audio"
[ClientGraphics]
useHardwareMouseCursor=1
screenWidth=1024
screenHeight=768
useSafeRenderer=0
rasterMajor=7
[SharedUtility]
cache=misc/cache_large.iff
[SwgClient]
allowMultipleInstances=TRUE
psst thats what i heard from rich people who can afford 2 accounts or even more accounts

Then go to www.mygalaxie.com
Go to thier guide section, choose misc. guids, and click on the "run 2 SWG at one time"
Download and install the program. Worked like a charm for me,I didn't have to do any cutttingpastingwishingpryaing - it did it all for me!
