I'm trying to set up a hex color codes as an alias for the different colors so I can type /red and get \#ff0000 to give me a red line of text in the chat window. (Or some other color)

Anybody know how to do this? I'd like to use color in my conversations, especially to keep a good contrasting color for the environment I'm in at the time.

Someone posted "/alias red .\#FF0000" as a solution to give a red line of text, but the default chanel colorization seems to override this for spatial says and the like; only the client generated text appears to be affected.

Any suggestions?
