I've been trying to research this but have not been able to see the definitive answer.
I'm trying to buy some BE Clothing and have some questions on stacking the attributes. PLEASE help correct me/inform me on this stuff:
1. My understanding is that you cannot stack two attributes on the same piece of clothing. For instance, if I have a vest that has +25 on injury healing and +20 on wound healing, in this case ONLY the injury healing will work. Is this correct?
2. If BOTH items are +25 (or the same regardless of the number) then the item listed FIRST counts and the other item does not, correct? So if it's +25 to injury treatment and +25 to wound treatment then the injury treatment again counts and the wound treatment does not, is this correct?
3.If the above two are correct, why do BE makers even make items with two attributes if only ONE will work?
4. Also, if I have a VEST with +25 to an attribute and a HAT with +25 to the same attribute, do I get both to work or am I capped at +25?
5. Is there a way to "see" that these attributes are working? Can I look at my skill mods with the clothing on and off and see a difference?
Answers to these questions and anything else you can add would be great! I just don't want to waste any money on items that will not work.
Thanks in advance.

For instance, if I have a vest that has +25 on injury healing and +20 on wound healing, in this case ONLY the injury healing will work. Is this correct? I am pretty sure that the stacking limitation you are talking about here only applies to SEAs, and not to BE clothing
2. If BOTH items are +25 (or the same regardless of the number) then the item listed FIRST counts and the other item does not, correct? So if it's +25 to injury treatment and +25 to wound treatment then the injury treatment again counts and the wound treatment does not, is this correct? Same as above
3.If the above two are correct, why do BE makers even make items with two attributes if only ONE will work?
4. Also, if I have a VEST with +25 to an attribute and a HAT with +25 to the same attribute, do I get both to work or am I capped at +25? No, once you hit the cap, that is it
5. Is there a way to "see" that these attributes are working? Can I look at my skill mods with the clothing on and off and see a difference? You should be able to see them in your character skill section

1. If a piece of clothing shows two modifiers (either from BE tissues, built-in mods from looted clothing, or previous skill tapes), you get both. If you have a skill tape with two modifiers, when you put it into a piece of clothing only the highest will get applied to the clothing (or the first listed if there's a tie, or some other variations if there's overlap between mods on the SEA and mods on the clothing). BE clothing tissues are different in that they are included by the tailor during item creation, and do not have the multi-mod bug that SEAs display.
4. The most benefit you can gain from mods on all clothing worn is +25. Anything above 25 is treated as 25. So you could wear a vest with +15 and a hat with +15, for a total of +30 and still only get +25.
5. In your skill modifiers section of your skill sheet (ctrl-s on default keymap) you'll see something like this:
Wound Treatment +100/+125
That means you have +100 from skill boxes (assuming you're a Master Doc) and +125 from skill boxes + clothing bonuses. If you are wearing clothes above the +25 cap, it'll still show up with the total increase:
Wound Treatment +100/+130
but it is still treated as +125.
Food skill bonuses add to the first number listed, and this is not affected by the +25 cap from clothing mods. So if you ate Bivoli that gave you +25 to wound treatment, it would look like this (until the food wore off):
Wound Treatment +125/+150
In this situation, you will get the full 150 bonus.

Thanks so much for the answers, it's all much clearer now- I appreciate it.
BTW, is there a listing of all enhancements you can acquire on BE tailored clothing somewhere? If someone has it can you reply with a link or location?
Thanks again.
