I am a casual player.Playing pretty spiratically for the past year I haven't achieved much in the way of combat skills and gear. My combat skills are novice bounty hunter and am getting my butt whipped when I don't have the time to travel for buffs. What is the easiest themepark, combat wise?

Yeah deffinatly Nyms, there is only 3 missions if my memory is right.
And I think there is a way to do it without doing the first two missions.

Nym's is by far the shortest and you get the slugthrower carbine. The combat in it is pretty tough for an unbuffed player, but doable, and as said before you can do it with no combat. I actually found Jabba's to be the easiest. There is one mission where you have to kill some Tuskens that took me a few tries, but after that it was pretty easy. I did it with Novice BH without buffs or armor and maybe a weak pet, but if you are an old school BH with master scout then a good adhesive mesh trap should be all you need for the creatures you face. I casually play my BH now and then and also do not like to go trudging off for buffs or armor. I also have novice medic and have found that investing in a few choice foods and having some stims handy keeps me alive for most of what I want to do. So it is a good one time trip to the chef and you dont need to go buffing all the time.

Isn't the slugthrower carbine pretty worthless? I think mine was under 100 max damage. I mean, yeah, it's got acid damage, but by the time you're certified for it, you can already use the far superior DXR6, right? (I'm a new Carbineer - nice specials! - so I could be totally mistaken)

i just finished up the imperial themepark the other night. other than the occasional run to destroy a mass of rebels, and the deal with the fambaa, it can be done without buffs, just some good food and drink. being a master cm and novice carbineer(2/2/1/1) i didnt run into too much trouble, just poison and run around for a bit. on the missions with a group of enemies, just go and kill the one that was listed by whomever sent you. the others dont matter.

the imperial themepark was fun. I did it with less than master marksmen. That fambaa was a pain and I couldn't get anyone to help me on it (note: this was before I used buffs and comp. armor), but after using a few wild spawns to my advantage I took it down. I had fun and was glad to see each Imperial commander.

yeah but its still better than anything I got from Jabba's and it looks nice. Granted I did Jabba's back when all you got was worthless commando loot and a fishing pole.

I was able to do the little-known Valarian Themepark while unbuffed, with nothing but Pistoleer 0-0-1-1 and Novice Smuggler. People are willing to give an arm and a leg for the Mysterious Glowing Orb you get from those quests, for some reason.

I did Jabbas, nyms and the imp one without any combat skills at all (not even novice brawler/marksman). Bring a Probot and some droid stims.
As for the fambaa, kite it to some stormtroopers
Now that i think of it, i got help with the tuskens at the beginning of Jabbas, but as i took out the rebel commando(or whatever) during the imp themepark with my probot, they should be doable as novice artisan too.

Same here. I'm going to have to redoJabba's sometime. I realized today that I had done the Rebel Themepark before they had POI badges in the game. I had to fly out to the Temple of Exar Kun and get the badge even though I'd done the themepark already. Talk about a long time ago...
