This weeks Tuesday Tip was sent in by Peasleblossom Fari, Master Entertainer/Musician from Starside!!
Many players know how to load different fireworks into a Show Package, and launch it for an impressive display. However it's a little known ability of the Entertainer profession to program these packages. Anyone with Novice Entertainer can adjust the timing and order of the fireworks, creating dramatic pauses, colorful clusters, or long steady displays. A programmed package can then be given to anyone else, and launched as normal. It's a great way to celebrate a special ingame occasion.
Got a useful tip that you want to share with your fellow Star Wars Galaxies players?
E-mail it to [email protected] and if we select the tip we'll post it as the Tuesday Tip and give you the credit! Send us the character name and server you'd like us to include if we post the tip.
Tips can be anything that you think would be useful to other players but may not include exploits.

Now if we could get a less deterant loading process that might be even more helpful. The time it takes to make the packages is way way to long, unless you only want one package. But seriously when I was making my fireworks show for my grand re-opening, 1500 fireworks shot off, it took way too long to load the packages.

I load my fireworks up into my hotkeys - 2 or 3 frames full of em. Then I hit CTRL-SHIFT-H to clear my HUD display and look straight up at the sky in first-person mode.
I can then just type F1-F12 and ShiftF1-F12 to my hearts content, when a frame of hotkeys clears - Ctrlf12 moves me to the next frame to start over again.
I get to watch and play my Fireworks keyboard at the same time.

Actually, testing was done, and you only gain this ability at Master Entertainer.

you still dont get the effect from distance view but good point. i do the same thing essentially but but with a (gasp) recursive macro that hits all the F keys with a .2 second delay and stuff crates into the shift-F keys. open my inventory and just keep restocking the main F keys till those crates are empty then stick more in the bottom row from the pack. rinse and repeat till you just cant take it anymore. i saw screen shots of the day i did it but would be to hard to maintain the flow and watch it at the same time.

I recall being able to set the time delays on the show packages why back when and I didn't even have entertainer at the time. Has this been updated recently?
