Is this Live yet?

(Do buffs remain in tact when you log back in, starting from where they were when you logged out?)

Thanks,

Not yet. Logging off for a certain amount of time will clear your buffs still.

But just logging back in after being kicked out, either by SWG or your local ISP, does save your buffs. They just don't appear in the little "buff box", but can be noted on your HAM bar at the top. The disadvantage to this is that younow don'tknow how much time is left on your buffs.

Actually that's been changed, we get our buff timers back even after crashing

I actually like the losing-buffs-after-logging.. it only happens after a good few minutes so it gives you enough time to reboot and re-login. It's a handy way of getting rid of buffs I don't want..

Yeah, all the guys who are happy with everything are playing the game
They aren't spending their time sending you guys letters or posting

Yes, there needs to be a way of getting rid of buffs other than waiting for timers to run out, for example, if you accidently pick up a 45 minute music buff instead of a 2 hour one, you'd want to clear it and get a proper one.

Either that or let musicians and dancers rebuff over your existing entertainer buffs like doctors can (in the case of doctor buffs, they canprovided the buff is of greater power to the one you already have).

I don't think that will ever happen to be honest. When you log out, time still passes, so if you log out with 2 hours of buffs left they would run out after you had been logged out for two hours anyway. As it is now, I think they clear if you've been logged out for more than about 5 minutes or so, since your character can't stay loaded on the server after you log out.

I guess it might be cool to log out with buffs left over and still have those when you log back in, but I doubt it will happen.

Some of my pet peeve bugs:
•Armorsmith protection layers were not converted with the CU.
•Ship Details window does not close when you click "Travel" resulting in the message "You have lost the target. Closing interface."

Eh, it wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing.

The way it is now if you crash or log out for a few minuets and log back in you buffs and the (buff window remain this was the fix), if you logout for longer than 10 or 15 minuets your buffs are gone, they will not make it so you can log out for an extended amount of time and return with your buffs intact.
