Hey,

Was wondering for the Imperial (and Neutral) Assasination mission, whether the Rear Admiral you're supposed to take out is in the bridge, or one of the two coded officer's quarters next to the bridge? My guild is probably going to send a group up there tonight and I was wondering if we need to grab those officer's quarters codes or just the bridge one?

Thanks in advance!

Hey all. I'm a Free Lancer and will be taking on the Corvette in the next day or two (with a group). I've used my Dunelizard all the way up through tier 4 and she's still running strong; I just love that ship.

My question is ... for the Corvette, do you think my Dunelizard will serve me well enough or will I have better success if I deck out a Rihxyrk and have the added protection? What have most of you Free Lance masters used when you completed your Vette mission?

Thanks in advance.

When I went freelance I soloed the corvette in a dunelizard. In fact I didnt ever use any other privateer ships.

Once you've done the corvette a few times and learn the 'rythms' of dealing with it, you can pretty much use any ship you want when going up against it. But if this is your first time then I would reccommend loading up a Rihxyrk. A nice heavy piece of armor on my ass has saved me a few times against that thing, when I would do a bad strafing run.

Ship choice is personal preference. In this case, I can not recommend changing to a ship you use infrequently and then jumping into a tough fight. If you do then it seems you are handicapping yourself by sitting in a ship with controls that you are unfamiliar with, despite additional firepower and armor.

Use what you are comfortable with.

i cant think of any other ship to do the vette in than the rhix, you can pack in the reward shields to stay alive and enough level 8 guns to pack a real punch, but thats just me.

I switched to the Rihxyrk to do the gunboat mission, as my Dunelizards shields just weren't effective enough, so I guess I'll be using the Rihxyrk again to do the Corvette

Although it has bad handling, it doesn't really matter so much against a target that requires the hit and run technique, as the only time you'll need to manoever is to do a 180 for another run. It's slow speed will mean it takes more damage on each run, but it'll be able to pack a much larger punch.

throw engine overload 3 in your FC on board your Rhykzerk, she will fell like flying your Dunelizard with slightly more inertia, I would go kill 10 or so tier 5 TIEs in Kessel to get used to her, then take on the vette group.

Also if you want to use a group of people, if they all fly medium and light fighters, you should use the Rhyk, if several of them have bombers, use your Duney

when you are used to the DL, stick with it.

you might sacrifice a bit firepower and armor but get way better handling.
