Whee /open is fun on NPCs. Here aresome things I have gotten the last couple days.

Didn't get a chance to do the other high level Tuskens before they wrecked me. Something funny to do is /open you mount while riding it. You can see yourself. The NPCs in the Erran Sif POI had some really good Republic Blasters but I didn't get screenies of them.

So did you actually get the items or did it only let you examine them?

my bet would be examine only, they look like generic high lvl MoB weapons that WONT drop.

Just examine them, but it is nice to know what your enemy is shooting you with.

so how do you /open them exactly? must you be within a certain distance, do they have to be dead/alive, or what?

i've tried it on a few NPCs, and have been unable to get it to work on most of them....

Has to be in some sort of building or cave. Like the Tusken Fort or inside the building at Lord Nyax for example. There is a distance on it but I have always been close. I would guess no more than 10 m. I would say they have to be alive but I haven't tried on a corpse. Definately make sure they are targeted or it won't work.

Unless its been changed you can do this to other players also, you can see what they have equipped, its kinda entertaining in the cantina
