On one of the mission from Lord Hethrir (long silver hair, purple robe in room to right of elevator in main hall) there is a courier mission where you have to deliver a disk to a holonet npc. Problem is every time I try to deliver it he attacks me and therefore my character kills him instantly, and the mission fails every time.

What is going on with this? This has happened to other people as well on the corbantis server so I know I'm not the only one with this problem.

You probably have that kind of faction in the minus. (like -5000 Townspeople for instance) So he´ll go aggro on you.

Hmm not exactly this, but I have a mission where im supposed to bring back a slizer for inquery, but every single time i get close to him to converse he attacks me, and gets blown away in a second, I've tried this mission out 8 times now with different appraoches, sneeking, walking, peaceing etc. same thing over and over again.

Guess you will have to work off your negative faction, its not a bug but a major feature of this game, factions that is.

The best way to do this is to unequip your weapons, write a looping macro: /peace; /conversationStart; /uiToolbarSlot??. Walk up near the guy (outside melee range) and let him attack you, run the looping macro and run away from him. After a certain distance, the guy will /peace you and start walking back. Close with him quickly and your macro should grab him before he aggros again. Can take a couple of tries, but I've had very good success with this.

What faction does that slicer belong to?

Yep, I had the same trouble when I did the imp theme park. You prolly have very low thug faction. What I did wasn't as complicated as making a macro. I had /conv typed into my console, and I would walk up to the target with him selected. As soon as I was like 60m away I had to hit enter to execute the /conv command. If you time it right, you get the mission complete before he has a chance to aggro you.

Otherwise you can find townspeople to kill to give you positive thug faction.

Why don't you make it easy on yourself

1 kill the guy

2 walk up to his dead body

3 type /conv

Can't /conv the corpse anymore.

The NPC is a thug, and you probably have -5000 with this faction. I was in the same position and completed this quest...

1. unequip your weapon

2. ride your swoop/bike/speeder to waypoint

3. NPC will attack you. Since you're on your vehilce, you won't kill him.

4. drive away until he /peace you.

5.race back to the waypoint before he can get back.

6. dismount

7. /conv NPC before he gets back to the waypoint and before he attacks you again. He will talk to you.

use the /conv command with him targetted. The /conv command has greater range than the radial dial.
